Ihloff Salon & Day Spa - Tulsa

Nicely done color and cut however there was no appointment reminder which I specifically requested. I missed my appointment twice and both times they insisted they had called me. I asked to confirm the number they called and both times they found they did not even have a number for me. I have given it in writing and verbally twice. I really don't have time to waste like this. I end up with ugly new growth in a professional job. NOT COOL.. Too bad since the work was good.

Always have great services. Got sick of going places and having to wait. I am in and out and it is totally worth it. The quality is great!

The service was very good and ambiance was nice. As a first time customer I received coupons and a free body spray customized to my liking. The products are Aveda.

They are a bit expensive but they do a good job on all fronts. I went with them because they had the best rating.

I have used 3 stylists at the Utica location, all cuts have been very stylish and modern,as well as reasonably priced. I haven't gone anywhere else since I have started using Ihloff.

I went to one of their senior stylists for a cut and color. She gave me just what I wanted, and was very responsive to my comments and concerns. I'll definitely go there again!
It is pricey for the Tulsa area, but in line with similar providers in more expensive cities I've lived in.

They're very friendly but way over priced for the service that I got. I did not get the hair cut that I really wanted. I was very displeased with my hair cut. I've gone to them, to the same girl more than once. She's supposed to be the master hair cutter. They have different levels of hair cutter. She was at the highest level and of course the most expensive. I went to her four to five times. She gave me a good color but the hair cut is not, big time.

They are great. I like Roger, he cuts my hair and their place is beautiful.

Asked for an appt at 10:50 that morning... they asked me to return at noon. I arrived at 11:50 and sat, and sat and sat. At 12:20 I left. No one approched me to let me know they were running late. The waiting room was completely empty. Not busy at all. I had a similar experience a few years ago... thought I would give them another chance. My mistake. This was at the 81st and Memorial location

I tip 15-20% of the normal price which brings the price closer to $32 or $37 depending on if I get a Protege 1 or 2.  Protege 2's have more experience.  You can pay more for even more experienced stylists, but they don't offer the $10 off on Wednesdays.
Everyone there treats you like royalty.  They offer to take your coat, fix for your or let you fix your own non alcoholic drink.  They have a nice selection of herbal teas.
The stylist listens to what you say, gives advice when asked for, and only does what you both agree on.  I love the cushy chairs you lay on while they wash your hair.  At other places my neck hurts while my head is in the sink.  At Ihloff I am so comfortable lying back with my head in the sink. 
They use Aveda products which are wonderful but expensive.  They ask you if you're interested in any product, but don't push.  I've always been happy with my hair after leaving their salon.
They also offer new customers several coupons for services.

Ihloff has stylists at different levels for different price points. I made an appointment with a base level stylist. I didn't dramatically change my cut, but I asked for bangs and some layers for body and I got a really lovely cut that will be easy for me to style myself. My hair looks a lot better than it does when I go to the Supercuts. I would definitely go back to this salon because I think that any of the stylists there will do a good job. It's easy to get in for an appointment. It's a little bit more money, but since I don't cut my hair all that often - it's worth it for me.

This salon is no where near as nice as it was when located on Cherry Street. The Ilhoff at 81st and Memorial in Tulsa is excellent!!

They have different levels of stylist, The higher you go, the higher the price, but even the lesser of them are very good. I got an amazing hair color in there. I am 45 minutes from there, so don't go as much as I would like. Plus my daughter owns a beautiful spa in Jenks, very nice inside, super service. Ihloff, greeted me right away with something to drink and someone comes in, to walk you to whatever area you need to be. They showed me products, but weren't pushy about it. I really had no complaints at all. But it has been a year or so ago.

They're very, very good. I really like them. They're very high quality, thorough, competent and you definitely pay for the quality. They're punctual. They stick with the appointment times and they're very friendly. They have pleasant environment.

My stylist, Christina at the Utica Square location, has always done a terrific job. She greets me promptly and handles my hairstyling very professionally. Last year, when I was recovering from a broken ankle, she was very thoughtful of my mobility issues and adjusted her work station so I wouldn't have to walk as far on my crutches. Yes, Ihloff Salon is more expensive than average, but as far as I'm concerned, they're worth it. Just be aware you may be pressured to purchase Aveda products (I happen to love Aveda, but I know some people don't like getting the sales pitch while they're getting their hair don).

I enjoy my service there. It is a little expensive, but the service is good. I have another appointment already scheduled.

I like them and I use them regularly. They're good and always get me right in. They have a very nice atmosphere but they are pricey.

She didn't ask any questions and seemed to be giving me a rehearsed version of the information I'd already read in the spa's brochure. Though she had a pleasant expression on here face, I felt that she was insincere. I realize that I'm a middle-aged woman and that there is no and quot;magicand quot; wand that will make me look 20! However, I hoped for a realistic assessment of improvement I might expect. Instead, I got the feeling that behind the smile she was thinking, and quot; . . . hopeless case . . . what do I look like, a miracle worker??and quot; I did not schedule a treatment.
I will add, though, that on the salon side of Ihloff's I've had a fantastic stylist for nearly 6 years who I see every five to six weeks for color and cut. I would highly recommend the salon.
