Description of Work: Check engine light illuminated, also diagnose & repair hard shifting transmission.

Description of Work: we had a transmission rebuilt. I had to take it back two more times because it kept failing each time they would have the vehicle for several days. They finally got it right after the third visit.

Description of Work: I called them to tell them the noise I was hearing under my hood. I have an Isuzu Trooper 2001 and it's hard to get service at times. A friend of mine told me that this was a good place to go and it was good. He told me it would cost $1000.00 to pull the tranny and check it out. 2 days later he called me and told me that it was trash and I needed a new one which would cost me $6100.00. He told me that the worst case senerio would be $2500.00. He then gave me a list of other prices with the lowest being $4100.00 and that is with him rebuilding it. I asked him how much would it cost for him to install a transmission if I found one cheaper and he told me $550.00. I called around and found a transmission for $1750.00 and it was new. I ordered the tranny on Thursday and he got it on Monday. After he was done I got the car on Tuesday afternoon and it was loud. I thought if I drove it a little it would get better. I went to get an oil change on Wednesday and they told me that my exhaust pipe wasn't connected properly. I called Don and told him and he said he would fix it. They didn't charge me a dime extra and I drove to Dallas to my Giants vs Cowboys game and have not had a problem. They take care of there stuff and took care of my car. I didn't like that they didn't call around to find a cheaper transmission, but otherwise they are great.

Description of Work: Chrysler mini van stopped moving towed to the local dealership. They gave me a price that was way to much for me. My husband started calling around and 5 out of 6 people told him to take it to hhh transmissions. I looked up them on Angies list they had a terrible rating. My husband had it towed to them any way. I was really hesitant about the whole thing. They seemed like they new what they were doing. They were polite and they were less expensive than the Chrysler dealer. They took about 5 days to fix it, They ended up replacing the transmission. I called around and that was about the average time 3 to 5 days to fix a transmission. They gave us a warranty. We havent had any problems with the work yet. i would recommend them to my family and friends.
