Rick came out and spent a few hours on the roof and then gave me a list of what he recommended and the cost. The scope of the work was to replace the damaged/aged shingles and replace all the ridge shingles. I agreed, and, I took his recommendation to install a vent along the top ridge to help reduce, (albeit in a small way), the temperature fluctuations in the winter and thus protect the shingles from expansion and contraction. For aesthetic appearance only, he offered, and I accepted to sheath the vinyl toilet vents with lead casings. His son and a helper came out and worked on my roof for one and a half weeks. This took longer than he had initially thought that it would. They were very meticulous with the details. His son spent a lot of time on my roof because of his meticulous attention to detail. Because of the extra time that it took, and the excellent job that was done, I gave them $1,000 extra as a measure of my appreciation. A leak showed up almost a year later. Rick came out and evaluated it. He emailed me pictures of the problem... copper flashing had been punctured. He fixed it at no charge and this included fixing the damaged sheet rock and painting inside the house.

He seemed to use a pick-up crew. Knocked nails out of the ceiling. Later roof developed a leak. The inexperienced son was sent out. He screwed up what he attempted to fix. The roof still leaks. I will have to pay another roofer to fix it.

It was great. The clean up was really good. They did the job in the amount of time they said they would. We were really pleased with what they did. He worked with our insurance adjuster to point everything out that the adjuster did not see. Rick the owner did that himself and he was ALWAYS available.
