Fairway Lawns

Fairway is significantly more expensive than other lawn services. We hired them with the understanding that they could control Poa Anua and Nut grass. We also paid extra for insect control, especially ants. None of those objectives were achieved. We also noticed that our grass was not as green as our neighbors' grass, which was unusual compared to previous years using other Services. When I hand pulled the Poa Annua they tried to sell me grub worm control, pointing out the places where I had pulled the weeds they did not control. They?re always trying to upsell you to other services. Furthermore, we still have a significant ant problem, which their treatment treatments seem to do little to control. I have done better using products myself for a lot less money. They say they treat the yard and invoice for it but fail to come out , state they have when you call, then say, "Oh, it's scheduled ____". Went from yard of the week to a total mess due to them admitting that a tech used to much weed control. yard looks absolutely horrible now. They offered to credit me for there mistake after I have been watering extra trying to get it green again. Watering more than I should for sure.

Usually I would have given five stars. The last application the service person spent longer in his truck writing a report than on the lawn. He knocked over a few plant stands, some of which he didn't bother to pick up or remove the dirt in the patio. Chemicals were dropped on my swing cushions on his way out as well which have left a small stain.

Poorly. If your yard looks good they will throw up a big sign. If it looks awful they will try to hide a sign the size of a business card. We have endured this for years and are completely over it. They have techs who have no idea what they are doing and as a result we lost a great tree. I routinely need to add grub killer and mole repellent because they apparently look over this (hence the business cards on sticks). Our front yard turns white and we know they are now "selling a new service" that should be included in the package. It's so frustrating. Chalk it up to another "upsell" business model. WE ARE OUT! FREE AT LAST! WILL FIND A LOCAL SERVICE! Do not buy into their "we are number one in the Tulsa area" I would love to see that survey.

I have only been using their services for a couple of months so it is too early to make that decision. All dealings so far are really good.

They come out seven times a year. They just came two weeks ago. They call in advance and inform when they be coming. I have been using them probably two to three years.

I have tried three other lawn chemical companies and Fairway is the first to actually rid my lawn of weeds and give it a nice green
color during the growing season.

The tech called the day before to let me know they would be out the next day which allowed me to make sure the dig was secured. The tech comes in does his job diligently and leaves my bill on the door. You are also able to pay online which is very helpful.

I'm really pleased with them. They provide good information. I would recommend them.

I had used Fairway for a year and 2 months. I hired them at the end of 2010 because i had noticed that I was not really happy with the company I had been using for over 6 years. So, I hired Fairway because my neighbor had been using them. The Tech himself is a great guy. I have no problem with him. He took the time to pick up dog toys and whatever else might be in the yard before he performed the applications. I noticed halfway through that first year that I still had weeds after EVERY application. I understand that things take time but I had NO weeds with the other company (my problems with them weren't about weeds). The proliferation of Henbit was outrageous! I had mentioned it a few times to the tech and was told it was because the perimeters had bare spots, etc... Now, mind you, I always took time to water per the instructions on the invoice after every application. So, I gave it a full season. This year I can't believe the amount of Henbit, Dandelion and other weeds in the yard. I could have done a better job with a bottle of weed kill from Lowes. So, I called Fairway and told them I no longer needed their services. They asked why and I told them. The person on the phone then proceeded to give me a LECTURE about how it was MY responsibility to have called them after every application so they could come back out and re-treat. I informed them that if they had been doing their job with the proper amount of chemicals then I shouldn't HAVE to have my yard re-treated. My yard looks worse than a few years ago when I started weed control. I do NOT recommend this company and I am suspicious of the good reviews for them here.

The lawn fertilization and treatment company is very knowledgeable. They are always on time. They have been reliable and everything they have done so far has worked. The price is average. They are in the ballpark pricewise, as I had checked with a couple of other guys as well. They have been in the business for thirty years.
