 + -1 moreThey replaced the stem as perfect as new. They also cleaned the watch, cleaned the watch band, and replaced the waterproofing seal. Boy will I go back to them for any watch or clock repair.
Description of Work: Needed stem fixed on my watch that was my belonged to my son. In memory of him I use his watch. The watch means so much to me.

Description of Work: Espigares repaired my 1950s Jefferson Golden Hour Mystery Clock. It had not run since being knocked off a shelf in the mid-50s by a child who may or may not have been me. Espigares gave me back a treasured relic of my childhood.

 + -1 moreGeorge called me when the clock was ready to tell me what he found with the clock and what the charges were. It was pretty much what he told me in the estimate. After we made the appointment to have the clock works returned to the cabinet, I had to cancel the appointment due to a conflict on my end, so we rescedhuled for another time. George called me right before the next appoiintment to tell me the clock was not running correctly and that he wanted to keep it for a while longer to get it figured out. He called me back a little later to tell me that clock was now working fine and that he could return it to my home. He returned the clock mechanism to the cabinet and talked to me in detail about proper care and maintenenace of the clock. The clock now runs perfectly and we are very pleased to have it proudly displayed in our home! I would highly recommend Espirages Clock repair!
Description of Work: I inherited the grandfather clock that my parents bought back in the mid 1970s after my Mother died this past May, but it had not worked in several years. I found Espigares on Angie's List and called them to dicsuss repairing the clock. George walked me through their process for working on clocks, which included coming to my house, removing the mechanisim from the clock and taking it back to his shop for repairs. He explained the inspection, cleaning, and repair process in detail and told me about what I could expect to pay and how long it would take. He also spent some time telling me about the clock, how it worked, and what the issue most likely was.

Description of Work: My wife bought me a very nice and pricey Bulova titanium watch in 2006. After two years, the battery ran out and we were having a difficult time finding a vendor to change the battery, due to high value of the timepiece. The jewelry clerk at Dillard's, here in Tulsa, recommended Espirgares Watches and Clock repair. We have used them exclusively for battery replacement ever since. Their prices are very, very reasonable (battery replacement for only $10. Plus, every time I've used them for battery replacement, Fred Espirgares drops what he's doing and immediately replaced the battery, even though he's appears swamped with other watch's needing repair. Last year, 2011, the watched stopped working altogether and it wasn't the battery this time. My wife brought it here and within a week, Fred had the watched repaired and apparently cleaned it very well too. Anyway, she said it cost us less than $100. She never said what the problem was, but it's fixed.
