Erwin Custom Woodworks

We were pleased with the work done by Erwin Custom Woodworks. You work directly with Joseph through the entire process, so there will be no concerns with inconsistency. He is precise in what he does, so I believe that will be carried on from customer to customer. The service that surprised me the most is all creating and staining is done off-site. Completed pieces are delivered and installed with minimal clean-up required by the owner. I would use this service again.

I bought a new fridge smaller than the original. On installation a gap of about 9 inches remained a space to be filled - would have looked odd if not filled. Mr. Erwin helped plan a corner shelving unit. I told him my only requirement would be that the shelving appear to be original rather than just added on. Mr. Erwin completed the project in a timely manner and had the unit 95% built in his shop. He did a great job and the look exceeded my expectations. Price was reasonable. I will have him back soon to create some special shelving for the garage. Exceptional!

My husband and I have four kids, including twin toddlers. We do a lot of online ordering for convenience sake, and chose a barn door for our home online and spent a pretty penny on it only to be super disappointed in the product. We found Erwin Custom Woodworks and loved photos of their work. We had a gorgeous barn door custom built for us for a fraction of the cost, and loaded with handmade character. The woodwork is beautiful, and the paint/weathered treatment is so pretty. We were thrilled to buy local, and have a piece of art handmade for us. Joe was always quick to respond to questions, and was a joy to work with.

They were so gentle with them from the start. They complimented my grandfather's job which I knew wasn't that great a job, but it made me feel so good. Then they asked what I had in mind for the island and all I said was I didn't like the color or the functionality of the top. He recommended maybe concrete or butcher block top and a rough wood finish. He said he liked the metal hardware that my grandfather set into the wood on the legs and he added more which was so neat! When they finished, it was better than I imagined! I love the finish on the concrete, it's smooth like a glaze but looks rough and kind of rustic! I also love the color of the wood now; he matched it almost perfectly to the existing columns in the kitchen! He even customized the height for me so my arms don't get tired while mixing or cutting! Seriously I'm in love and it's now such a sentimental conversation piece. Here are a couple pictures.

Erwin Custom Woodworks is fantastic. He was very timely and detail oriented. Always willing to work with new ideas or changes we made throughout the process. He was easy to get a hold of when needed and worked well with our scheduling. I would highly recommend him for any remodel or carpentry work!

Work was completed promptly and cabinets looked very professional. Joseph took care of the removal of old cabinet faces and installed the new cabinet fronts. He fixed any issues with fit and made a few adjustments after installation. The cabinets look great!

My renters said he was polite and worked with their schedule very well for the install. Everything looked great. I was very impressed with the quality. I'll use him again, because I know I won't have to worry about it being done...and done right! Thanks, Joe!

Wednesday morning I provided Joe the dimensions to build me a new kitchen cabinet drawer box, and by 4:00pm that afternoon he had it built and ready for pickup. I was very please with the craftsmanship and punctuality.

My house is beautiful. The comment I got most is, " Wow! Your house should be featured on HGTV!"

It was great! In less then a week it was installed, very professional

Joe Erwin and workers, came over and built a cabinet for my garage. Also built a very nice spice rack.
Work is professional and of highest quality. I was very impressed with Joe and his helpers.
Joe and his workers are hearing impaired, but they communicate very well and are very quiet since there are no radios or talking.
You will be very happy to use Joe on your project and if other trades are needed, like a plumber, Joe has his group he works with.
All and all a very nice experience.
