I couldn't be happier with the results. The two men who worked on our house were very professional and went out of their way to do some extras. They moved everything out from under our patio and placed everything back in order including lights we had hung up, etc. They were very pleasant, worked hard and had the job done in 2 working days. They promptly arrived early in the morning and did an excellent job. I would hire them again!

Zack Shrum's crew of two did an excellent job of power washing, prepping, and painting the exterior of my home in just two days My neighbors watched as my job was completed and were impressed enough to have Davis Custom Painting paint their home a couple weeks later.

I selected Davis Custom Painting because of the reviews on Angie's list and because they were local. I thought they were a little overpriced based on other estimates I received but they did excellent work. Scheduling was a little vague to begin with due to other jobs and weather. But if you are flexible, they provide great service. Painters were friendly and polite. Job lead was prompt, responded quickly to all my questions and stayed in constant contact via e-mail with job progress, what they were doing and when. He also put up with my craziness and constant questions in a very professional manner (Thanks Zach!), was very accomodating when I decided to add to the job (when they were already done with the power wash and prep work on the house) by power washing and painting the yard fence. Zach did a complete walk around with me when job was done to make sure I was satisfied. Also, they accomplished a couple of minor repairs for me while doing prep work on the house (loose gutters, replaced garage door stripping, and pulled down some bird's nest that I was afraid to get on a ladder and do myself, etc.). Overall they were great and I will probably use them again next year for some interior painting.

The paint job was done very well. The crew was very professional. They worked very hard and kept a very clean jobsite We had a bit of communication difficulty with the owner and the foreman of the job. The medium grade paint was used when we had ordered the premium grade. We discussed this with the owner and were charged for the medium grade paint. We would recommend Davis Painting.

I contacted Mr Davis and arranged for him to meet me and provide me with an estimate. As we walked around the house he was very detailed in asking what I wanted done and providing suggestions. We found several areas with severely damaged wood and we agreed that those repairs should be made.
A fews weeks went by from the time of the estimate and when the work began. The crew arrived and began repairing the chimney and other areas that required extra attention. They were very detailed in their work and did a fantastic job. The work was completed in the time-frame agreed to and I could not have been more satisfied with their work. They met or exceeded every expectation. Before Mr. Davis left our home we had him put us on the schedule to do some interior painting as well.

Davis Painting has done 3 jobs for us.
1.) June 2001 - Changed the color of the exterior of our house (which included everything in #3).2.) February 2010 - Painted the baseboards and door frames in our whole house. We're very happy with the results! 3.) May 2012 - Pressure washed the house, filled the nail holes, caulked cracks and joints, removed all loose paint, spot primed, etc.... and then painted exterior of house. They are very neat and professional and the job they do is excellent!! Our house looks great - inside and out!

Davis painting provided a detailed estimate. Once the price was agreed to we set a date/time. They showed up exactly on time. In selecting the paint color Davis found that we had some trim painted a darker shade than the rest of the wood on the house. We decided to keep everything the same shade. At that point our estimate was changed and the price lowered by $400 as the two tone painting would of been more expensive. They job was finished within 4 days as estimated. The only thing I would like for them to do different would be to clean up some of the scrapings left scattered throughout the the yard and on the roof. Not a big problem just would of been icing on the cake. Overall we were extremely satisfied with Davis painting and would use them again without thinking twice about it.

If patience and concern count, Mr Davis was at the top of the list. The house was a faded grey-green and, as noted above, badly peeling in several areas. The prior owner had displayed only one photo of the house, the front, which was also the only side that had been recently painted and not well done. Mr. Davis walked with me around the house twice, and he taught me what to look for and why the extra effort of caulking would be worthwhile. My business is teaching and Mr. Davis was an excellent teacher. Every step of the way, he patiently explained what needed to be done, why it needed to be done and what the benefits would be when it was done. We had two other estimates and their approaches could not have been more different. One said, "I will beat their price" and the other said "just leave it to me." Mr Davis' was not the low bid but we are completely satisfied with the results. The time Mr Davis spent with my wife and I to be sure we had just the right color was time consuming but he never showed any signs of impatience. When it came time, after the first painting, to consider a contrasting trim, his patience was again in evidence and we matched, perfectly, the color of the storm door we had just had installed. It was not a simple process but the end result is outstanding. Not only are my wife and I now more knowledgeable about house painting but we also now live in a beautiful house. We live in a cul-de-sac and all of the neighbors we have asked have commented favorably on the quality of the paint job and agree that the house is now an asset to the neighborhood.

Mr. Davis arrived punctually for the estimate and we walked around the house discussing the work in some detail. I was impressed that after we finished our walk around, he walked around the house again to recheck and consider what needed to be done. He was the only estimator to do this. I received a timely and complete estimate showing all of the work to be done including the situation with regard to the rotted wood area and the removal of the small TV antenna. Although all of the estimates I received were in the same ball park, his very complete estimate and way of carefully considering the details won him the job. The painters arrived at the appointed time and over the next three days power washed the house, caulked, did other prep work, replaced the rotted wood, and removed the small TV antenna. All the areas to be painted were carefully masked from the brick and windows before painting. The job took three days, exactly as he had estimated it would. I should mention that he also brought his color chip book to us help pick a color for the front door that would go well with the brick work. The crew left the work site clean and in immaculate condition. The final cost was just as he had estimated. I will happily recommend Davis painting to anyone who might ask.

Davis Painting has been around for some time. First had estimate given. Then later son called and set up time to start project. First day workers power washed peeling paint on trim around windows, fireplace, under roof line, then scraped by hand. My roof is very steep. Second day they primed the wood with primer I provided. Third day four painters added the exterior paint, which I also provided. Because of the heat, they had to take several breaks. Pleasant and courteous workers, although I only conversed with one or two. Being a woman home by myself the whole time they were here, I felt comfortable and safe.

They arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job of preparation before starting any painting. They cleaned up the job site throughly at the end of each day throughout the project and took care to mask and protect areas not being painted. End job was an excellent paint job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The entire job was very professional. The prep work was the bulk of the job and will be the difference in years to come. I was completely satisfied and would recommend their work to all.

Davis Painting's employees were great. They came out and gave us the estimate. They applied a primer and painted the exterior. They told us when they were going to come and how long it was going to take and they did everything just right. It took them several days but they cleaned up perfectly afterward. They were willing to work late even during a very hot time in Oklahoma.

The project was a complete success from my point of view. Recommend this company very highly.

They are a local company, and my experience with them was excellent. They did a very good job. They also painted a couple of houses in my daughter’s neighborhood. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

The company showed up on-time, and really did a first rate professional job. They are very honest and didn't try to oversell anything for the sake of more money. I believe they charge more than others because they are the best. Most importantly, they really want to make sure that you're happy.

They showed when we were told they would, they worked the whole day, they cleaned up after themselves everyday they were there and didn't damage anything.

These guys were fantastic. They were able to start earlier than what I was first told but that was a good thing. They said they could wait if necessary. They spent a lot of time in preperation. They taped and masked to prevent overspray effects. They even masked my neighbors car to keep overspray off that. I highly recommnd them.

Work went as scheduled and work was done as discussed and written in estimate, as well as attention to details that we didn't catch. Employees were exceptional and all areas were cleaned up and left in excellent condition.
