We met Dorman through a friend that recommended him. He laid a 20x30 slab of concrete that we were going to use as a patio floor. I just wanted a plain concrete slab/floor...no color, no design. After me telling him that was what I wanted he continued to pressure me to let him "dye and stamp" the slab. Several times I said no...I just want the plain concrete....and he would pressure me again to get it dyed and stamped. Finally I just gave in & said ok. We have had problems with it right from the beginning. Dorman did come back several times to try to fix it (it was the color that was the problem), but his "fix" would not solve the problem. Finally, tensions were getting high between us and winter was setting in. We agreed to wait till spring to see if letting it set through the winter would make a difference. He told me many times throughout this process of trying to fix it, that he would never be the kind of man/company that would "run" from his customers. On May 1, 2013 I started contacting him through phone calls and texts. He stopped answering my phone calls. He would text me that he would stop by on such-n-such day...he didn't stop by. This scenario went on for over 12 weeks. He'd promise, but wouldn't show up...something else would always come up so that he was always unavailable to stop by. So much for his promise that he would never be the kind of man/company that would run from his customers...he stopped responding to my texts also.
