If I didn't want to wait on my car, they drive me home. It's just convenient. It's right near my house. I thought it was a little bit high, but I don't know what prices usually run for that service. They're wonderful.

When we got the total bill I was shocked. It was $900. For that amount of money, I would have expected Cartec to have the professionalism to give us an estimate first. They didn't, and unfortunately we did not think to ask for one. Afterwards we contacted a dealer to find out what they would have charged, and it was $600, for the same exact services, down to the brand of motor oil used for the oil change. So the word of advice is to ALWAYS get an estimate, and ALWAYS get at least one other estimate. We even discussed this with Cartec afterwards, but they did not offer any discount.

Brought my 1996 Neon in as it was being extremely sluggish and jerked when revving up. Brought it in and they ran diagnostics on it and determined I had corroded spark plugs and crumbling wires. They replaced both and had it purring like a kitten in no time.

I have an older car with lots of miles on it. We took it to a couple of places and their advice was to scrap it.
Car Tec was recommend to me. We took the car there. It did take a couple of thousand to fix it but that was now two years ago and the car still runs great. I certainly got my $2,000 dollars worth from those folks and more.
Plus they are so nice to work with, kind, polite and considerate.
Highly recommended.
