BRAD'S SEAMLESS GUTTERING

After the initial problem in scheduling, we got excellent results. The day after I left the review complaining that we had been waiting a month for someone to return our calls, Brad got in touch the next day to schedule and sent Richard out the next morning. Richard did a wonderful job.

Experience was terrible. First of all Brad assured me it would be a professional job as stated on the estimate. He said they use stamped dropouts where the down spout meets the guttering. He said they don't cut guttering, bend down and pop rivet down spout to guttering.... That's exactly what they did ! I caught this after inspecting their work. Work was sloppy, poor quality, and looked terrible. They did not put the hangers at the top edge of the guttering. They screwed the hangers through the drip edge...! Installed hangers at some places 2and quot; below the top edge. They misaligned the down spouts with my brick columns. Gutter leaks. Gutter holds water. They tore the down spout straps off at the rivets instead of cutting them straight. They added a down spout that was not there originally or on the bid sheet and it looks out of place. I installed new flashing, all new facia boards and a new roof. This is my house and an investment. I felt the job they did not only did not protect my investment but promoted and accelerated decay. I had called Rain Gaurd, David came out and looked at the job and said the job was poor and would effect the house structurally if not addressed. He said it was so bad he would have to tear it off and start over. I had contacted Brad by sending registered letters, phone calls and personally went to his shop only to have his pit bull turned loose on me as I walked back to my truck. His response was there was nothing wrong with the job and and quot;It looks good from the streetand quot; He did offer to come and install the stamped cut outs but the gutter was already butchered. I didn't want him back on my property. He ended up giving me a box of parts to repair his work. This was not what I expected. He also took $500 of his price. Bottom line is don't use Brad's Guttering. He would have gotten away with this with the average person because most people would write a check and find out 10 years later they have water damage due to improperly installed guttering.

I am very picky about the color of my guttering matching, so I used a light color for the guttering and a brick color for the downspouts. Brad was very patient about my decision process and even made several extra trips to show me samples of the colors and of the fastening devices. His crew worked promptly and courteously and cleaned up their work area.

I called Brad to tell him that I was accepting his offer, and he told me that the work would be done in about two week, probably on Wednesday. I heard nothing more from him, so I called a couple of days before the Wednesday to see if they thought my gutters would be installed on Wednesday. I received a message from Brad telling me that they would probably be installed on Wednesday, and he would call Wednesday morning to give me a time. I didn't get a call, but two workmen showed up about 8:30 on Wednesday, and my gutters were installed in about two hours.
They were careful with plants and did an excellent job on cleanup.

I think he did a good job but he wasn't very good at getting back with me. I didn't even know he was coming out to fix it and when I came back home, I found there was guttering on my house.

We had a good experience. The estimate was quickly completed and installation was finished a few days later. We were referred to Brad's by the home builder and we were not disappointed. The quality and installation appears very good and the warranty should be long enough in case something comes up. One thing we never thought of was having the down spouts extend a bit beyond the walls of the house; however, it was done and we are glad he did it. That will definitely help keep water away from the house. From the beginning, I always dealt with Brad directly; it was nice to not have a middle-man involved.

I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE BECAUSE THEY DO SUCH A GOOD JOB. THEY MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS CLEAN WHEN THEY LEAVE. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE NOT EVEN THERE EXCEPT THERE ARE NEW GUTTERS.
