BOWEN'S DISCOUNT CARPETS

.The older man that helped lay carpet was great.    The younger man damaged the baseboards and door frames in several areas and I now have nicks and gouges in my new furniture.  He appeared that he couldn't finish the job fast enough.  I would never ever use Bowen's again because of their installers.
The install was at our previous home.

I'm very pleased with the service I received. I don't know anything about flooring, but Grady took the time to walk me through everything and make the best choices for my condo. He didn't always recommend the most expensive option, but rather the option he thought would work best for me, which I really appreciated. They also had a very good selection of products.

Poor installed, refused to take old linoleum, had this miracle and quot;gooand quot; to put on top so the old pattern would not wear through. Within the 1st year it was showing. Bowden's refused to do anything about it.

Bowen's people were friendly. The carpet layers they use were very slow, took 3 days to install carpet in three bedrooms.

Out of three bids, Bowen's was the best price. They were able to order the flooring and materials and get everything back within 3 business days. They were very curtious and professional. I had been given their name by a friend who had used them several years ago. They also gave me the name of an Installer, T.K. Flooring, and they were also the best price and did a very professional job on the installation. I am very happy with my news floors.

We have used Bowens in the past and have always been satisfied with their service. We had the remnants installed by one of their installers who happened to be in the store and came by that afternoon and cut and installed the two pieces of carpet.

We went to the store on Saturday and they installed the linoleum on Monday - morning! They came by and checked the floor, did some leveling, took our samples and our choice back to the store where they cut the linoleum. They came back and laid it and were done by 1pm. They were polite and professional and answered all my questions. I am a very happy customer.

Free estimate was exactly the same as the final price. The installers were quick, courteous and professional.

I chose the carpet and arranged to have it laid with their "standard" pad, which I tried out in the store. I had the closing timed down to the minute to arrange for the rooms to be painted immediately BEFORE the carpet was to be installed, yet still have time to be off work and unpack a bit. I also was trying to avoid moving in a bunch of furniture and turning around and re-moving it all a week later for the carpet guys-to avoid extra fees for that. The salesman was brusque bordering on rude the first time I was there, but Bowen's had the cheapest prices around, with pad and installation, they were quoting me a price that was under what I could pay if a friend laid it for me. That was 2 weeks before closing. I think the initial quote was about 8-900 dollars under what the project finally wound up costing, and it took me SEVERAL phone calls to get everything done correctly. The day of my closing, 2 days before it was to be installed, I rec'd a call, the carpet was on back order, and would not be ready-could they reschedule? I agreed, and bit my toungue. The installer had to call me himself to arrange a time, and he called and we set it up. I thought that was a mess, seems like it would have been more professional to ahve the initial guy who called me set it up, but whatever. The installe5rs arrived, and I was at work, my mother let them in....after starting in on my son's (uniquely colored) room, the installer told her they did not ahve enough carpet to lay the closet, what did she want them to do? After SEVERAL calls between us all, and the Bowen's guy, it was determined, that if the installer would (I am not making this up!) turn the carpet the other way, it would fit. Well, it did, in fact fit. They still did not ahve the carpet with them for my bedroom or the hallway, so another date had to be set. They finally finished that, there was a corner left up in my daughter's room, the padding is so poor quality that Ia ctually LOOKED to make sure it was installed, and I complained about the poor stretching done in the hall, so the same installer had to come out a third time. His girlfriend called me back to set up the date/time. He brought his daughter? girlfriend? who stood, in my home, on her cell phone, talking loudly the entire time. I rec'd no discount for the fact that it took me over a month past the promised date to get the carpet installed or for the fact that I had a complaint about wrinkles just months afterwards. That was a year ago, and I will not use or recommend Bowen's to anyone....you get what you pay for-and sometimes you pay more for it!

WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY WORK DONE BY THIS COMPANY. THEY TOOK ONE DAY TO TAKE UP THE CARPET AND INSTALL THE HARDWOOD FLOOR. I PURCHASED ALL OF THE CARPET AND THEY INSTALLED IT.

FIRST OF ALL. ALL OF THE OTHER CARPET COMPANIES CAN'T BEAT THIS COMPANY'S PRICES. THEY GAVE ME A GREAT DEAL ON MY CARPET, AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THAT.

THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY DID THE JOB THE WAY THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD. IT ONLY TOOK THEM FIVE HOURS TO DO THE JOB. WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED WITH THE JOB, THEY PICKED UP THEIR MESS.
