Rick Allen met us the day we purchased the house in 2010 to give us an estimate for new siding.  Large sections of the siding were rotten or missing and water had damaged insulation and interior floors as a result.  Rick found the color we requested and gave us a reasonable estimate.  Rotten sections were removed and replaced with plywood, then the entire structure was covered with insulating foam panels before the siding was installed.  Rick works with one other person so it took a few months but what a work of art.  He is a perfectionist,  We couldn't be happier with the results.  The house is gorgeous, soundproof  and well insulated and he was right on budget,
In 2012 the old roof began leaking so we called Rick again to get an estimate.  Again, it was reasonable so we hired him to reshingle the roof with high quality asphalt shingles that look like wood shakes.  He removed the entire old roof,  replaced about 16 sections of rotten plywood sheeting, replaced all flashing and vents and reshingled.   He did a beautiful job amd finished on time and on budget.
There are no surprises with Rick - he takes great pride in his work, is very knowlegeable, doesn't take shortcuts and gets all of his work by word of mouth.  He cares avout whar his customer wants and keeps you informed on a daily basis.  What a great person to work with.
