Dryer Vents - Clean
The service I received was soo thorough. My dryer was heating but leaving clothes damp. Thank you for detecting my blocked vent. The tech was a team player helping the roofer locate my vent. New vent is installed thanks to Air Doctor Duct. So thankful for their prompt service. You saved my dryer!

My dryer vent needed cleaning, so I consulted Angie's List to find a company to do the job. I read the reviews, and one for this company caught my eye: "Three workers showed up on time and immediately began working. One worker worked on the roof; one in my laundry room; and one running equipment to each of them and directing the work." Since my dryer vent extends through my roof, it seemed a perfect fit. I called and scheduled an appointment. On Feb 6th, the three-person crew arrived on time. I showed them where my dryer was located, where the vent duct ran up into the attic space and out of the roof. I walked the crew around to the side of the house and pointed out the exterior part of the dryer vent duct and, in particular, the clogged vent cap on top. The crew leader immediately informed me that they would not go on the roof. He said they would do all the cleaning from the laundry room upwards through the vent duct. During the cleaning process, one of the crew went up into the attic and immediately put his foot through the sheetrock ceiling of one of my bedrooms. The crew finished doing their "cleaning", and put me in touch with Jason, the Air Doctor General Manager. Jason apologized for the ceiling mishap, and told me he would make sure the repairs would be done. He explained that Air Doctor was a subsidiary of the local Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling company--and they would contact me immediately to schedule the right craftspeople to do the repairs. Didn't happen. I got back to Jason, said there didn't seem to be the same sense of urgency in making the repairs by his point of contact at Paul Davis. After Jason's intervention, drywall repair and painting crews were sent to my house to do the required repairs--all were completed to my satisfaction on Feb 13th. Since my vent still wasn't fully cleaned, I had to hire another company (Breathe Easy) to come out and re-do the job. The Breathe Easy crew had no problem getting up on the roof, cleaning out the vent cap and duct.

They came out to clean ducts in Nov 2017. Reviewed ducts with a camera and it was determined it really wouldn't work without creating more problems. Came back with a video to keep and gave us a quote to clean and coat ducts that was good for a year. I called around and their pricing was very comparable. They just cleaned and coated and did a great job. Explained what was happening, showed me the coating process explained the drying and followup check.

Three workers showed up on time and immediately began working. One worker worked on the roof; one in my laundry room; and one running equipment to each of them and directing the work. The work was done within an hour and they showed me the large amount of lint that had built up in the vent pipe. The crew was very professional; they were careful when running hoses and equipment through my home and cleaned up the area before departing. It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend the company to family and friends.

Fantastic! I scheduled the work for the time I had available, and they were able to come at the time that worked for me. Mark, Justin, and Chris showed up at the appointed day and time, and were very professional. They got right to work after I showed them where the dryer vent was located. Mark took the time to show me the inside of the vent (very full of lint), and Justin and Chris were up on the roof. They found a bird's nest inside the dryer vent outside. Overall, I was very happy with the job they did, and I will call them again to clean out the air ducts in the house. I highly recommend AIR DOCTOR DUCT CLEANING.

The air ducts in our new home were in bad condition.  The technician took the time to show us the problems and gave us multiple solutions to resolve the issues.  We have decided to hire Air Doctor to apply a coating to the floor ducts.  The date for the coating application has been scheduled and after the coating is complete he will clean the remaining ducts for no additional charge.  We were very impressed with the professionalism and patience of the Air Doctor team.  I will post a final review once the coating process has been completed.  This appears to be a great company that puts the client and the safety of the environment first and his profit second.  I am looking forward to them completing the work.

Air Doctors Tulsa is effective and have good equipment to do the job professionally and do a thorough and very good cleaning which definitely cleaned the air ducts with a noticeable improvement to the air quality in my house.
Workers were professional and friendly once they worked on air ducts but before that there was a lot of pressure of a hard upsell services which is why I rated overall a B instead of an A.
So a warning to customers to not be intimidated and be willing to let them leave
If they strongly pressure or insist on an upsell.

Here are more details of my Experience.
In general I had a good experience with Air Doctor Tulsa with a slight warning or strong heads up to Angie's list members.

I needed air ducts cleaned due to the past when dogs and cats were in the house.

The company and the two guys they sent guys that work there are professional and know what they are doing and have very good equipment to do a good service.

My warning is they do put quite a lot of pressure in the beginning before starting their work for the customer to upgrade or have fixed by replacement their rust issues or possible future pending issues they see and say you may have with the ductwork.

They have a camera on a long cord that they put down your vents to see the condition of duct work before they start.

They say they do this to have a strategy to see how they will approach your system.

In a way that's good to see and know however there is quite a lot of pressure that they put on the customer to upgrade or further fix their rust issues or pending issues with the ductwork.

They do give you a strong impression with the innuendo and feeling lingering that they might not be able to clean the ducts for you.

I think after about 40 minutes of their looking for potential problems and showing me rust and pointing stuff out to me on their camera screen they realized I was just not biting the bait.

I was not going to fix my air ducts unless I absolutely had to and it probably wouldn't be with them.
I would get a second opinion before doing that.

I understand the service company would like to have a $4,000- $5,000 job if they can get that versus a $500 job.

In my mind I was thinking if they said they couldn't do my cleaning I would just call my 2nd choice on Angie's list and have them do it.

So once we got over that whole concept that there may be problems with your duct work hurdle and they realized I wouldn't budge they took all their equipment and did an excellent job.

To be fair, they were aware that there were more rusted or sensitive ducts in certain areas, so on those they did not use a whip blower cleaner tool but a gentler ball air blower cleaner tool.

In general I could've done without the hard sell in the beginning however once that was all over the two guys were friendly, capable, and did a good thorough job. It all took 4 hours.

If for some reason in the future the duct rust gets worse and causes a problem 5 to 10 years from now I will deal with it then and even if that were the case I would get several bids on it before doing it.

They do offer a 50% discount for cleaning your dryer vent since they are already there. So it was $70 instead of $140.

My dryer vent is on the roof. They had to made sure they and their equipment went all the way up some 18 feet. They cleaned it well and thoroughly. I appreciated their attention to doing a very good job.
