stated he would be by Monday upon his return-gave him my concerns that they had not cleInitially it went well- pd 1/2 up front as outlined in contract it was Father's Day week-end & Joshua was going out town to see his father - stated that his workers would be back to clean-up & do driveway - he would be back on Monday - of course I pd him balance before he left (I should have waiting until he returned BUT I put trust in him - spoke w/him on phone re: clean up cement etc especially around our drains( which I told him that they should have covered up)were covered with dirt, pieces of cement(I ended up cleaning drain area be cause of rain in the forecast) state he would have them come & do the clean-up, also my concerns to him about the workers arguing & sending one to the truck, he knew that they needed to call so that the gates could be unlocked no call just showed up they were told they were suppose to call as my husband was on his way out & I was @work - I would not hire again & or recommend co to anyone!

Very experienced crew and so efficient it kept me on my toes to inspect each stage of the work. More communication would have appreciated for my benefit and understanding, but every step was performed better than expectations and I am delighted with the end product patio slab.

The job started well and ended well, but there were a few hiccups along the way. The reason I felt compelled to write a review is because of the way Josh handled the issue. He was very apologetic and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was satisfied with the job. In the end, it turned out very well and I have recommended his company to others. My advice with any contractor is to get everything on paper before the job begins. Almost all construction crews move very fast once started and it's best to communicate thoroughly before the job begins.

Affordable Concrete was refreshing to work with. They show up and communicate! A big plus these days! There was one variance that was not accomplished but turned out satisfactory. We originally, agreed to a have sawn seams rather that hand trialed expansion joints. They put in the hand trialed expansion joints. I do have to say I was a little disappointed but it still looked good and the workers were friendly and explained the reason they went this route instead of sawing the joints. This was minor in my book. They even took a few photos showing me they did put rebar in and one of the problem we ran into with the old concrete being extremely thicker that anticipated. I thought that was a great touch, being that I only saw the finished job and I wouldn't have had any idea about those situations, where it not for the photos. That being said, I had three other company's give me bids. One came out looked at it and never called back with the bid. The second, shot me a extremely high price because he didn't want to do it. The third, seemed real promising, had a good price and did good work. The gentleman giving the bid was super nice and communicated well. It was not him that was the problem it was the company he was working for. He told me sorry multiple times, for them not starting when they said. He even told me that after he finished the jobs he had lined out, he was resigning from that company. He said, I just can't do business that way. So, when I say it was refreshing you can see why with my past experience with other concrete companies. Sadly, most people are not people of there word. Josh and Affordable Concrete will be there when they say and work with you on what you want. The only thing I would do different is make sure I put my wants in writing and have everyone sign it for acknowledgement. So, Affordable Concrete gets the gold star! I would definitely, use them again if the need arose.

Crew was on time to start and completed faster than I expected. They were professional and did excellent finishing on the concrete. A drain was added and they were very careful to pitch the driveway to drain so the water runs to it.

Josh came out and measured for the estimate proposal. I told him what I wanted to accomplish in pouring this Patio. He agreed and had some suggestions of his own. I was going to get the Patio Cover done first, and then have the new concrete Patio poured. When Josh's crew arrived I went over the measurements with them and location of the 2 slabs I was having done. I had made a mistake on the Patio slab measurement, and Josh's crew was able to let me know. When I first measured I had forgot to figure the extra 2 foot overhang of the eves on the house. This was where the Patio Cover was mounted to. So another 2 feet was added to the concrete estimate. This made the Patio measurements to be 14.5 feet. X 31 feet and the slab by the AC unit was 4 feet X 8 feet. The thickness of the Patio was 4 inches. The crew did a great job in forming, setting the slope, and figuring elevation for the Patio. The finished product was more than I expected. I would not hesitate to have Affordable Concrete of Tulsa do my future projects as needed. A+ to Josh and his crew.

Josh was able to give me a quote over the phone, because the pad was straight forward, and we established a date for the work to be done. Josh was very responsive to calls and he and the crew were prompt and ready to work when they arrived. Josh and his team was very professional and executed exactly what we needed. 
Overall a very good experience with quick turn around and good workmanship I would I highly recommend Affordable Concrete

Affordable Concrete reconstructed our original Driveway that was built with the house in 1989 since it was cracking and had No rebar in original driveway.  

They tore out our 17' x 40' driveway and hauled away all the concrete plus the large landscaping rocks from my flower bed on the corner of the house and repoured the main driveway, then added a 12' x 40' extension plus another 5'x8' extension to the trashcan area, all included the 3/8" rebar on 2' centers and poured a 3' x 12" firewood rack concrete pad toward the back of the house for us.  All the concrete was poured at 4" thick with a 3000 PSI. 

The drive way was going to be actually smaller, but Josh was great about letting us extend it more even after they had already tore up the other parts.

The guys that came out to give us our new driveway, busted their butts.  I never seen them just sitting around.  They were always working and working hard, at that!

We will use Affordable Concrete again!

Everything went excellent.  His crew worked until it was dark on the first day.  They accomplished everything in a timely manner and finished the project a day ahead of schedule.  I am very pleased with their work and would recommend them for future projects.  Josh said if we have any issues in the next few months to give him a call and he would come out and fix the problem.

Affordable Concrete tore out old driveway that was initially installed in 1989.  Removed soil to a depth of 8" below grade, added 4" scree for compaction, installed #3 rebar on 18" centers, poured 4000psi concrete for drive and two side walks, leveled and then cut 1" expansion cuts.  Very professional.  Crew worked very hard and completed job in 4 days.  Josh De Lion was excellent to work with and followed my civil engineer's plans to a "T".  I would highly recommend Josh and his crew to anyone for concrete work around the property.  I will ask Josh to do some patio repair in the backyard in the future.
