Action Tree Service was AMAZING. We were super nervous hiring another tree service company, having had a nightmare experience with the last company we'd hired (think: dropped tree, two downed power poles, knocked out power to the whole block, days without electricity, hotel stay, etc.); but Action really knew what they were doing. They showed up right on time, verified the work we wanted done, and just got straight to work. They came with enough people to split up the tasks. We had a risky tree removal, and then some uplifting over roofs and pruning. They worked safely and steadily for about two hours, no scary stuff, then quietly loaded up, and RAKED my entire back yard. After they left, I went out to look around, and I'm not kidding - the only sign they were ever even here (despite the lack of problem tree) was a 10 inch long twig that my dog grabbed. That's it. The yard is clean, the pruned trees look gorgeous, and I'm left happy and with peace of mind. Cannot possibly recommend them any higher!! :)

We were not in a big hurry to have the work done but they had an opening, same day, so things got done quick. When I saw the work that was done, I was initially impressed. However, there were still a few branches that I wanted cut. When I contacted the person in charge, it seemed that I was insulting him by asking for a couple more small branches to be removed. After reassuring him that I just didn't want these branches stretching over the neighbors property line, he said he would come back when he was in the area. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but that was on 6/13/2016 and today is 6/19 and I haven't heard anything and the branches are still uncut. It's a shame that I can't give these guys an A since the other workers are so good and so courteous. I will probably give them another chance, next year.

Work was performed as agreed upon and cleanup from the stump grinding was good. This was large trees and stump and roots were quite large. I have used them in the past and would not hesitate to use them again

They started by cutting down the tree in the back yard. They trimmed the front tree and the whole job took about 3 hours. They cleaned the area when they were done. I am very pleased with the job they did. I will use them again.

Provided clear and detailed estimate promptly. Was concerned that I would lose the large birch tree but they were able to save it. Had planned on waiting a week for work due to their schedule but was contacted earlier when they had an opening and worked it in. Work was done professionally and quickly. Was impressed with crew's attitude as they really seemed to enjoy their job. Received follow up call to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Original estimate did not include the extra trimming of the small tree and hauling off of some limbs left behind from a small tree that had previously been cut down in my back yard. This was done at no added charge. Friendly and professional service. Will use this company for all my tree needs in the future.

The estimator came out to my house within a day of my initial telephone call. He listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and left with notes so complete that the crew that did the work had only to confirm what I wanted done. The estimators were polite and obviously knowledgeable. The price was extremely reasonable and given in parts so that I could have had some but not all the work done if the cost had been too high. I was very comfortable asking them to do the work at the time of the estimate.
The crew came well prepared and equipped. Even though the job was not large, they brought an entire crew (5-7 men) and everyone of them went right to work. They were organized and efficient and obviously skilled at their work. They were able to remove all of the branches without a single bit of damage, including my many small plants.
Although the work was scheduled for the following week, I received a call from them saying that they had some time open up that morning if I was able to have the work done that day. They told me that they would be there within the hour - and they were. Everyone of them was polite and friendly and worked really hard. They came with the mulching machine and after all the branches were piled near the street, they mulched everything. They also picked up all the small branches from around the entire yard and planting beds and blew the patio and driveway clean and picked up all the debris. They didn't waste any time, but I never felt that they were rushing the job.
The final product is as good as I have ever had. Their technique was in keeping with the proper way to prune branches and trees and they were able to leave the trees looking natural and healthy and not chopped up. I was very happy with their work and would hire them again and recommend them to anyone!

The service was excellent as usual - I have used them several times in the past -my trees look wonderful! The only oops was that i asked them for advance notice as to when they were to be here (I am self employed and often have to visit clients) and I did not get it until 7 am on the morning they were to show up.

Trimmed back trees around deck, took out treee and ground out the stump, plus matched bid from competitor. They just done my neighbors as well, he was very pleased. If you are looking for tree removal, or just cut back, you should look no further, these guys are really good.

They arrived on the day they said they would had all the work done by mid afternoon. They cleaned up everything and trimmed a couple of extra trees in the process. Very pleased with their work.

Action showed up quickly and gave us an estimate that was lower than I expected.
The work was done quickly after I agreed and Only the snow delayed the stump grinding (which would have left deep impressions if the ground had been wet).
I am happy with the results and can mow my lawn this summer without ducking.
