STUTEVILLE FORD-TAHLEQUAH LLC

My wife and I lost our vehicle due to a vehicular accident and were in the market for a replacement vehicle. We were looking at a slightly used vehicle from this dealership and had actually decided on buying the vehicle. The dealership was close to closing time and we made an agreement that they would process the financing the next day and we would be called when the paperwork was ready to be signed and we could return home in our new vehicle. The day went on and around five that evening I called the dealership to find out how things were going. I spoke with the same salesman a the night before and he informed me they had sold the vehicle that morning to another buyer. This was after I had signed off on the offer for the vehicle. I never received an apology and when I asked why they would sell a vehicle that had already been sold to me I was told they thought I could use a different vehicle. Within the next few weeks I began receiving letters from at least ten different lenders they had filed for the loan on. They were still attempting to get a loan for me on the car they had already sold in the hours following the sale. My credit took a small hit from the multiple credit applications. Not only did they ruin a perfectly good business deal with me, they did not understand what they had done wrong.
