Straughn's Budget Transmission & Automotive Svc

Done in timely manner but transmission slipped in overdrive as soon as I drove it out of the shop. I called the mechanic Tony Straun immediately , before I had driven even 10 miles, He said it was just dirt they left in the valve body and that I needed to drive it and it would start working. It continued to slip. I took it back in to his shop teh next day and he kept it for another 5 weeks and said it needed a shift solenoid. After I got the car back this time it still slipped in overdrive, exactly the same as it did before. I told him of this immedialtey and asked him if I should try to drive it to which he responded that I should bring it back. By now it was slipping so badly that it couldnt be driven in overdrive and it had overheated and burned the oil. Straun told me to bring the vehicle back in. He kept the car for another 4 weeks and finally advised that yes indeed it was now burned up and he would need to rebuild it again. He indicated he had another transmission that he would rebuild to replace mine . As of today my car is still sitting in his drive with the transmission out of it and no sign of activity. Tony Straun keeps calling it a warranty job even though he knows that it never was repaired correctly and was wrong the day i drove it out of his shop. Even if it were a warranty job he has no excuse for this kind of delay. It is nearly impossible to get anyone to answer their business phone and when I do get an answer it is just more stalling ,lame excuses and outright lies why they havent finished the job they have already been paid for. Several other personal friends of mine have had very similar experiences. He has had this vehicle since March except for the few days I tried to drive it at his instruction.
