Bed Mart is Stillwater's Best Little Sleep Shop and Waterbed Headquarters. We pride ourselves in offering the best in customer service before and after the sale. We carry bedroom furniture, mattresses, futons, bunkbeds, daybeds, adjustable beds, waterbeds, and we specialize in the unique. If you can't find it elsewhere, come see us and we'll help you find it. We have a full line of waterbeds and all waterbed supplies. Waterbeds are now considered medically therapeutic. They can be used to help alleviate arthritis pain, circulatory problems, back problems, allergy symptoms, as well as numerous other medical problems. You can come into our showroom at any time and "drift away" as you find the waterbed that offers you waves of therapeutic relief. We also carry Uplift medical devices for aid in assisting various medical conditions. The Uplift Seat Assist and Power Seat are both used to aid in rising from sitting to standing position. These are both portable and can be moved to different locations. The Risedale Chair incorporates the lift-chair mechanism into the chair so that only the seat raises while the chair actually remains on the ground. Other items available from the same company are Commode Assist and Uplift StumpRest. The Day-Light Therapeutic Light is used for people suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). This condition affects many people during long periods with not enough sunlight. Many prefer the light therapy to medication and believe it works faster. All of the Uplift Technologies products can be reimbursed by Medicare or private insurance if you meet required criteria as outlined in insurance information. Whether or not you have a medical condition, one of the favorite beds in the store is the adjustable. The adjustable massage bed with latex mattress is the absolute best for anyone who might be bed-ridden. Talalay latex will conform to the body and make you feel like you are lying on a bed of cotton. The head and foot can be adjusted individually for your comfort. When a massage is needed, just turn it on for a nice 30 minutes of relaxing massage. Adjustable beds can be used by anyone else for a multitude of reasons. Younger people enjoy the adjustable bed just for the comfort of reading or watching TV before bed. You may not be bed-ridden, but it also can assist in other health issues such as breathing problems, sinus problems, leg circulation, and many others. For whatever reason, come try one out for yourself and feel the comfort and enjoy a massage on the adjustable bed. Bed Mart does a lot of business in the summer to our students and the campus - Greek housing, apartments, etc. We feel that Stillwater is OSU and take pride in our school. As an OSU alum, I do everything I can to make transition for the students as easy as possible. Through our website, many parents can see what we offer for the students and are able to pick what they want. They order ahead, tell us when and where to have the bed and/or furniture delivered, and that's it! We take care of it for them and they just have to show up! It makes it one less thing for them to worry about. We have been told by many parents that it has been a blessing not to have to worry about "just one more thing." Bed Mart is a family business and very dedicated to supporting our community and our country. We show our gratitude to our community by offering our public servants - our firefighters, law enforcement, teachers - a 10% discount. We show our gratitude to our country by offering our military and veterans a 20% discount.

This company serves its customers with honest advice aimed at meeting the individual's needs, not lining their pockets. In addition to the no flip mattresses commonly sold today, they also carry 2-sided mattresses, which is most unusual today. I cannot speak highly enough of them. It may seem odd to submit a review on a company in Stillwater, outside my town of residence. I was impressed with this store and since many students come to OSU from other communities around northeastern Oklahoma, it's helpful to know that there's a reputable local furniture store. Bed Mart carries a number of mattresses within reach of a student's budget, as well as higher end models and children's beds. Their free local delivery for students is a great service.
Description of Work: We were in need of a moderately priced bed. Upon a friend's recommendation, I called this mattress shop and spoke the the owner, Stacy, who couldn't have been more helpful. She took the time to explain their products, the manufacturer who supplies their mattresses, and how they stand behind their warranties. She patiently explained the differences among 4 mattresses she suggested I consider. I am ordering one for a young family member. They offer student discounts to assist cash-strapped college kids, and veteran discounts to honor and thank those who served our country, as her family has done. She didn't try to sell me the most expensive model, but recommended a mid-level bed that should serve us very well. i was beyond impressed with the personal attention and effort she devoted to my concerns. Their delivery service is an added bonus and convenience.
