They arrived in an hour after calling. Incredibly professional, completed a winter service which fixed the problem and were done in about 30 minutes. They cleaned up any mess they made, and gave me helpful information on my system even though they didn't install it.

We purchased our house new and the HVAC unit has been nothing but trouble. Spencer went to bat for us and convinced the mfg\supplier to honor it under our expired warranty.

I moved to oklahoma four yrs ago ! we bought a house we donand quot;t really know that many people here! so when my air conditioner stopped working i asked the people i work with and everyone said spencer heat and air! so i called them ! they came out the next day gave me a estimate (very reasonable) ordered the part came back in three days fixed my air ! i am very Happy they were fast and i would recommend them to everyone!

They are simply the best heat and AC people I have ever used. They were recommended to me by by a friend and I feel lucky to have gotten the recommendation. I wouldn't use anyone else because I don't know how anyone could do a better job. Besides the downstairs unit work - they also replaced the second floor unit several years ago. You can probably find someone cheaper- but I don't think you'll find anyone who provides more value for the money. John is hands down the most conscientious craftsman I have ever met. He will do what he says when he says it for the price he quotes- and he stands behind his work 110%. His team of guys are also very conscientious and professional.

They did a wonderful job cleaning the outside unit, changing the outside filters, and changing the thermostat. Very reasonable price. They checked the temperature as they were leaving just to make sure everything was great. They are now my HVAC company and I could not say enough good about them.

They carefully explained our options and the advantages or limitations of each as they analyzed our need. Though I knew others who had already used them I think I would've trusted Spencer Heat and Air anyway based on the time they spent with me before the work even started. Since installation, they have been very patient as I occasionally have questions (since this is the first new HVAC system I have ever had and it, of course, is different than the 35 year old one that it replaced) and are always willing to provide support (though none has been necessary yet.)

The owner, John Shepard, prefers to handle all of the bids, and he came by at my convenience and assessed our needs. This was my third quote on the job, with each company stressing one aspect of the process or another. John was the first one to fully analyze our duct work. He was the only one to note that our ducts were not adequately wrapped with insulation (something that I had long suspected). Mr. Shepard also explained quite a bit about the way the systems achieved and promoted their efficiency, and a few other things that helped inform me further. There was a thoroughness to Shepard that favored Spencer Heat and Air from the start, and then, when I received their bid a day or so later, their prices were the best. We went with the middle-priced package, and arranged to have the installation about a week later.
Installation took a day and a half (as had been predicted). The half-day was needed to complete the duct work. The crew arrived on-time (they said they were a bit late the first day because of a train, but I had not noticed) and cleaned up carefully before they left, on both days. The crew seemed to work well together—harmonious, relaxed, and efficient. They were friendly and open toward me, and to my request to look out for my new cat (who wanted to watch everything). Overall, I was impressed with the attitude, thoughtfulness, and consideration of the crew. I found my self intuitively trusting them.
A day or so later, Shepard arranged to have a city inspector check the job (not always done from what others have told me). I appreciated this, though waiting on the inspector did mean loss of more work time. The inspector came and found two small and quot;code infractions.and quot; Shepard explained that one item was inconsistently required. He had not run across the other infraction before, but that he would take care of it nevertheless. He had a couple of guys come out on the following Saturday (so that I would not lose anymore work time than necessary), and they rectified the infractions in 20 minutes or so. The job was inspected again on Monday and passed.
Throughout the process, from start to finish, John Shepard, the owner, was communicating with me directly. This was especially valuable to me when I was spending so much money. I certainly would not expect the same and quot;personal touchand quot; from too many other companies.

We called on a Tuesday, Technicians came the next day and gave us an estimate. Then they came the next day, Thursday, to do the work. They arrived on time and completed work in about 2 hours. The work on the room addition was at a halt until the ducts were put in, so the prompt quick response was much appreciated. Thank you!
