Steve's Propane

I called to have my propane tank filled as usual. A driver showed up a little bit later to fill the tank but was scared of my puppy. He started hitting my puppy on the nose. I asked him to please don't do that. He got angry and said my puppy was bearing his teeth. My puppy was barking and getting more upset every time the driver hit him. I was trying to catch my puppy and take him inside, I stopped and told the driver maybe he shouldn't come out anymore. He said he didn't have to fill my propane tank. About that time I finally caught my puppy and locked him in the house, when I went back outside the driving was taking off. He left the lid off my propane tank and connections undone. I called the office to let them know what happened and was told he would have the owner call me back. I didn't hear anything so I called back a little later to see if they were sending someone else out to fill my tank. I was told they didn't want my business anymore because they heard the "whole" story from the driver. I don't know what they think the "whole" story is but this is very bad business.

Changed jets in stove to convert to propane.

We are military and just moved back from Japan. Moved back into our home to find out that our renters left our tank at under 5%! We have a BBQ planned for the weekend and will have about 40 people here. Other companies were either too high in cost or couldn't make it out until next week. Steve was wonderful. Offered a comparable price (only .05 more then cheapest place I could find), but was worth it because he came out same day I called to make sure we had plenty of propane and didn't run out, since we have 6 kids and 2 adults that live here... let alone all the guest coming. Performed a leak test for free and no trip charge. I will be using them again!

I moved in to a mobile home that was all electric and I had all natural gas appliances. I needed a propane company that could install a propane tank and convert my appliances. My neighbor recommended Steve's Propane, I called them and they were very busy but they managed to squeeze me in and complete the job. I had all new plumbing, a propane tank installed and my stove and dryer converted from natural gas to propane. They were punctual, courteous and professional, I would highly recommend them and continue to use them in the future.

I have been dealing with Ferrell Gas for years. I had gotten tired of their customer service and all the extras they charge when you have your propane tank filled. After trying to get a hold of them 3 times on 12-27-12 I decided to call a different propane company that I had seen driving around. I called Steve's Propane and the phone was answered immediately. I asked for a quote and when would they be able to come out. He quoted $1.99 a gallon and said they could come out the next day. I asked about a fuel surcharge because Ferrell Gas always charged me that, Steve's Propane does not charge for that. Ferrell Gas charges my credit card immediately and makes we wait 4-5 days before they make it to my home. On 12-28-12 Steve's Propane called me at 8:00am and said they would be here in 20 - 30 minutes. They showed up on time and were very professional and nice. He checked my heater and appliances to make sure everything looked good and no leaks. Showed me/reminded me where my shut off valve on my propane tank is in case of an emergency. Out of curiosity I kept trying to call Ferrell Gas on 12-28-12 to see how much it would have cost if I used them. When I was finally able to get through they quoted me $275.00 compared to Steve's Propane at only $206.46.
