In fairness, this was a difficult fix. They accepted the job so I expected it done right. Overall, I will never go back. GREAT: Got to me in 4 hours from time I called in my claim to my insurance company. Completed job in less than 30 minutes. Moved my vehicle in within 10 minutes of appointment time. NOT AS GOOD: Shop is a couple of miles from the nearest expressway. OLD, SMALL shabby building: 2 small side by side. No customer service(waiting) area. NO AC on shop floor. The runners appear to all be filled. UNACCEPTABLE: The entire repair is easily seen from any angle. The center is rough to the touch. I told the repairman it was rough. He ran a razor blade over it and called it good. I did not start a fight as it was not worth the effort. The same guy would (LIKELY) have just tried again. Once done, glass chip repair does not work well to ?retouch?. I have complained to my insurer?s agent, and will likewise do so to my insurer. I will not take any vehicle back to that shop. I will replace the windshield from my pocket first.
