Hasbell's Tree Service

Stacy Hasbell did only part of the work and lied about saying that he would take out an oak tree with termites. He claimed that I said for him not to worry about it but htat was certainly not true. I would never tell someon not to take out a tree with termites after he priced it with the rest of his work. He charged me a great deal of money considering that he only did half the work he said he would do. He did not give written estimates. He said he would trim several trees and remove debris at bottom. He did not remove all of the debris and lied about his promise to take out the oak tree. He wanted to cut my meadows for hay for his cattle. I said he could. He never showed up to do that after I let it wait a month on him to do it. He lied on several occasions. He claimed also that he would burn a brush pile and never showed up to do that either. This man should not be allowed to give oral estimates. He does not honor his word. He lied to me on more than one issue.

This is a great company. I had Payless tree Service come out and give me a bid because a couple close friends had recommended them. An old man came out who was barely able to walk and looked like he was about to fall over all the time. He was rude and always interrupted me. He gave me his bid and even though I was skeptical I gave him a shot because he had been recommended and said he had 3 large crews. So I figured he had to be legit. They showed up 3 days later and asked for 50% of the payment up front in order to purchase parts for equipment. Me being a fool I fave them the money and never heard from them again.I then contacted Hasbell's Tree Service and they were slightly more expensivec, but much more professional. The man and his nephew were so polite and friendly I gave them the job. They returned 2 days later with several pieces of heavy equipment and skillfully removed my trees quickly and safely. They are amazing at what they do and how in sync they are. They finished my job in a matter of hours when payless said it would be a 3 day job. Hasbell's has done work for me twice since then performing just small tasks but they will be my go to from now on and I will highly recommend them. Oh! And when they left they spent a good hour raking my yard clean. When they were gone there was not even 1 twig left. There was only a little saw dust left from their power saws and they couldn't help that (even though they tried to pick it up lol) but this is a wonderful family company and the two boys that do all the work and great young men and will make sure the job is done right the first time. And they don't ask for money up front!
