We went with a gas heat unit for one of the new units installed, when everyone else said it could not be done. Hand M didn't have any problems at all installing it, and we were able to apply for the rebate from ONG. Installation was nothing but first class. Bob, Chuck, and Mike were very friendly, professional, and very concientious about the job.

i like to support hometown businesses when I can, and this is a good example of why. I bought my first house in 1998 and didn't know where to start for service providers. After a number of years using various providers, from Tulsa area and local -- independent owners and larger businesses, for routine repairs and maintenance, I still didn't have a favorite. I got a number of quotes for replacing my home heat and air system, which was 22 years old and heated fine but the a-coils (consender coils) were leaking and giving air problems. I researched different brands and felt the Ruud system I had worked well and the quote on that was a good value. The quote I picked was from Hand M. They installed it with 3 men working well together (many years working together), in about 3 1/2 hours.
The new system uses the new refrigerant R410A, and there are a lot of complexiites I've learned from my research to using this. Refrigeration is a science and it is very technical! I have a lot of respect and appreciation for all they have to know and keep up with because of these new requirements.
I had service work done this month on this new system, it wasn't working quite right. I have been working out of town a lot and not available for them to check out. The readings at the outside compressor looked fine, whch they had checked when I first noticed symptoms. When I was home on vacation, they took more readings, at the inside unit. They found the issue, replaced the part, and under warranty. I will use them to replace my 2nd zone system soon.
