The visit for an estimate and quote went ok and David provided a fair amount. I agreed to terms and provided a down payment. on Friday, Oct 31. Was told someone would call to establish an installation date. Tuesday, Nov 3rd I let David know noone had called. I was told that someone would by the end of the week and to let him know. No one has called by Saturday Nov 7th a.m. I have let David know on 10th. . Someone did call on the  11th  and scheduled for Thursday but recieved a call and said they could not come as someone had called in sick. Were able to come out next day ( Friday the 14th) and install insulation. Could not over garage as had no dividers and had to stop with install in kneewall by garage as wall seemed to bulge. The work was done satisfactorily. The only issue I have is the gap between quote and someone calling to schedule. A phone call to say they were extremely busy and could not get to it for several weeks would have been ok. This way it seems as if you were not important once they got your deposit.

They were really good.  They did what they said they would do. They were just great.  Scott did the work himself.  It's a small company but he did the work himself.  He was very professional, I remember I was worried, he was blowing the insulation inside the walls.  I was concerned about a mess and he was very neat, cleaned up, everything is real good. We had planned on looking at two or three estimates but his was just about what we expected so we used him.  He did a real good job.

This was a very good experience from getting the quote right through to the end of the job.
I'm not much on words but I will say this was probably the best contractor experience I have ever had. On time from quote to finish and the end product was great. Installer made note that my ventilation might not be up to par and recomended that I have that checked out. Good knowledge to have.
Overall A+++++

Called for estimate 1-22-13.  Set time and arrived 1-23-13.  Answered all questions asked and went over some things I did not think
of. Explained services that would be performed from start to finish.  Gave estimates on different thicknesses and left the choices completely up to me. Made recommendations when asked.  Gave written price estimates.  Set up time for install.
Called before coming.  Arrived on time.  Did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame quoted and
at the price quoted.  No surprises.   Very well organized. Left areas clean and orderly.  Professional, helpful, friendly.  Could not be
more satisfied with the service and the people.  Would recommend without hesitation to friends and family.

The owner of the insulation company came out the next day after my call. He arrived promptly when he said he would. He was able to quote the price immediately after inspecting the area and I felt it was very reasonable. I had quote from another company which was MUCH higher than Burnett's. The other representative said he was new on the job and when I asked questions, he didn't give me the confidence that they would do a good job.
Steve with Burnett Insulation did not try to up-sell me on anything and actually advised to install the minimum 12 inches of insulation rather than going with more. I had plywood decking in the attic and he described to me how they would be able to blow the insulation under it without having the added labor of removing and reinstalling it.
The work was scheduled the following week. They were detained longer at a prior job but called ahead of time and let me know they would arrive later than originally expected.  The workers were very professional and the job was completed in about an hour.
I would definitely recommend Burnett for insulation.

If you don't want to read details, you can stop now and just hire this company.  Easy.Almost 2 years ago, we knew we needed insulation in the attic.....badly!!  Couldn't keep house cool in the summer, and the upstairs was like an oven.  On the recommendation of a neighbor, my husband called Burnett Insulation; spoke with Steve Blackburn, who came out and gave us and estimate, as did 2 other companies. They came out with a full crew to do the work. BUT......once they got well into the attic, he found that our ducts were really in such need of repair,  that putting in insulation would still not result in good efficiency of the AC.  He said he could certainly blow in the insulation --we would never have known ---but didn't feel it was right, given the poor duct work, until we could possible get it repaired.  We opted to wait on the insulation, as it would've cost more for someone to wade thru the insulation to do any work, then probably would've had to had the insulation redone, in areas.  One thing after another came up, and it was probably 1 1/2 years before we got the work done, including a separate system for upstairs.  Steve (or brother Jessie) gave a couple of follow-up calls over the next few months...never pushy, just seeing if they were needed yet.At that point, we had made up our minds to use them, no matter what.  They could've blown in the insulation that day and gotten paid, end of story.  But they canceled their morning and crew to do the right thing...how rare is that, these days? BUT  WAIT! I'M NOT DONE.......End of June 2012.... already frying eggs on the sidewalk, we called to schedule insulation and figured they'd probably need to redo the estimate, given the increase in their own costs.  But they said no, they would honor the original estimate!   WAIT, I'M NOT DONE.............
Unfortunately, the first available opening they had was 3 weeks away.....and they HAD to work in the mornings, as afternoon temps > 105 F made afternoon work dangerous.  So.....well into July...ugh.....but we were determined to use this company.   in a couple of days, my husband got a call from the owner (Steve or Jessie), who said they hated us having to wait that long in the July heat.......they came out 3 days later, AT 6AM ON A SUNDAY, to do the job.  Incredible.  WAIT! I'M NOT DONE.........
They used 10 more bags of insulation than they'd originally figured on.....and I realized that it may have had to do with the work we'd had done since their first estimate.  @ $50/bag, I was fine making up the difference, given the circumstances.  Jessie said no, he'd add $50 to the bill-- if ok with us--  he wanted to honor his original estimate (should've been $500 extra).
Sorry for long story.  But I wish that every company with whom I do business had the kind of work ethic and concern for their customers that this company has demonstrated.  Hats off to Burnett Insulation!  I'd never use anyone else.

They arrived promptly to make an estimate, and gave me a fair price quote (not the lowest, but still quite good).  I liked the fact that they looked over the whole job before giving me an estimate.  They gave a written estimate.  They had liability insurance and workman's comp, and we willing to provide this paperwork.

They came on time on the agreed-upon date and started the work.  It took longer that they expected (they said that they didn't bring enough material to finish the job that day, but I suspect that they had another appointment that they needed to keep), so they came back on another date about 2 weeks later to finish.  I went up in the attic to look at their work.  They covered all of the areas perfectly, even the hard-to-reach places.  They measured the thickness of insulation as they worked.

I really liked all of the workers that I met.  They were hard-working, professional and willing to answer any of my questions.  They used the Certainteed Insulsafe product which is not supposed to be so itchy - I like this in case I have to go up to the attic to do some DIY work later on.

The crew arrived on time.  The first appointment was aborted because of rain and the crew didn't want to get mud in the house. I appreciated the consideration although I had to make another appointment.  After the job was completed there was a HUGE amount of insulation around the inside of the house and in the garage that I had to clean up.  When I went into the attic the amount of insulation on my storage space was tremendous.  My stove fan had quit working and when I began to investigate I took off the cover and found the area was packed with insulation.  After I cleared it the fan worked well.   When I opened the closet to the hot water heater it there was quite a lot of insulation which I also had to clear.  It would have been nice if the crew checked all the fans and water heater closets to ensure there was no displaced insulation as well as clean up after themselves.

They responded promptly to our request for an estimate. Estimate was fair considering amount of work required. They completed work on schedule, and did an excellent job.

We got 3 bids. Burnett was only one that actually went into the attic to visually inspect it, before giving us a bid. They were not the lowest bid, but I felt that since they actually went up there and looked at it, I would be getting a good price for my money. The arrived on time, put shields around all the can lights that are mounted in the attic (from 2nd floor ceiling) and blew in non-itchy fiberglass insulation. They left a path in the attic for access to the heat/AC unit up there. They cleaned up before leaving. I still need to do a little more cleaning, but they were considerate enough to get the big stuff.

Burnett is an excellent insulation company. This is basically an older knowledgeable man and younger aggressive apprentice outfit and one we found perfectly suited to take care of this task. They waited over an hour and a half one early Saturday morning to start because they knew the machine was very noisy and they didn t want to disturb anyone s rest. They made sure we knew the difference in the gassy emissions between virgin white insulation and pink or recycled insulation. I highly recommend using Burnett for any insulation jobs.
