About us

We are a family owned, locally operated business. When we started, we saw a need for an honest, hardworking tree company that gave you the most value for your hard-earned money. Most tree services just do the bare minimum and have no problems asking for payment even before the job is complete. We never ask for payment until you are completely satisfied with our work and always go that extra mile. Don't believe us? Just read our reviews on Google and Yahoo... We also value your family's safety as well as the safety of our employees which is why all of our employees are specially trained and have at least 2 years of experience before climbing or operating equipment.

Had a problem getting their schedule to go with my schedule at first however once we got dates together, they were here promptly when scheduled.  The guys doing the work were very friendly, professional and great at doing the job.  They cleaned up all of the debris and left my yard in very good condition.  I would definitely reccomend this company and will use them again.

Response from Advantage Tree & Landscape Co LLC
"Unfortunately, this review is flawed and very disappointing. This customer was told that we would be there after 6pm on a certain day to do the estimate. She did not answer the phone nor was she home on that specific day after 6pm. Secondly, the customer purchased a coupon for $200 to get $400 worth of service. This equates to approximately 2 hours worth of work for a three person crew. Not only did the crew perform all work that was agreed upon, IN ADDITION TO AN EXTRA TREE TRIMMING, the crew stayed nearly twice as long as they normally would have. The customer did not want to pay for more than the coupon and therefore, did not receive all of the tree trimming that her property needed although she did receive more work than we agreed upon. She would have had to pay for extra service. Finally, the tree in the fence line was cut like that because it had grown into the fence. We advised the customer that an additional charge would be added to remove the fence, thus, allowing us to cut the tree to the ground. The customer was notified of this during the estimate. This customer was unreasonable and her expectations were also unreasonable. We take customer satisfaction very seriously and would never leave a job without completing it, however, it is unfair to leave a bad review because the customer did not want to pay to complete the job and did not appreciate the extra work that was performed. We are a family owned company with family values, however, we cannot afford to work for free and do not appreciate negative comments especially after going out of our way to make this customer happy. It is unrealistic to expect that we would perform complete tree service on a property with several large trees for only $400. I am 100% positive that this customer received much more than she paid for or that this coupon was worth."

I talked to the man in charge who came and looked over the things to be done.  We set up a day and time to do the work.  He joked that they might come on Father's Day.  We decided on the 13th, which as it happened, was on my birthday. Two men came to do the work.  They were very friendly and went right to work. It was a very big job.  It was very hot and humid. Those razor sharp leaves were difficult to pick up and pile up but that didn't stop them.  The roots were deep and it was hard work to get them dug up but they got all the roots up and said that the grasses would not grow back.  They did a great job.  I gave them drinks to help them out.  When they were done I called them and gave my credit card number. I received a receipt by email.  I would say that this company does excellent work and my husband and I are very satisfied.

When the men came to do the work they were kind and efficient. They did a good job. I just wish we'd been able to get it all done sooner...in the summer months. I think they were held up by the tornado disaster needs in the city, which I understood. It's done now and I'm happy. I would use them again and will recommend them to my friends.

I was scheduled to close on my new home in Newcastle, OK at the end of August 2013.  The house did not have a fence in the backyard and I needed a few trees removed and/or trimmed so the fence company could install the fence the first week of September.  In mid-July I received a Big Deal offer via e-mail for $200 off of $400 worth of tree removal services from Advantage Tree and Landscape (TLC).  I purchased this offer and immediately contacted Advantage TLC the same day to setup a time to have the trees removed.  They said they couldn't give me an exact date this far out as they were still busy doing tree removal from the May 2013 tornados.  They instructed me to call them back about two weeks prior to when I wanted the trees removed and they would schedule a day to do it then.  I called them back on 21 August and left them a voice mail.  They didn't call me back within 48 hours so I called them back and finally got ahold of Brett.  He said they were still super busy but he'd find a way to squeeze me into his schedule.  We setup an appointment to meet at my new house on Monday, 26 August between 1:30pm and 2pm to do a walkthrough of which trees needed to be removed and which need to be trimmed. 1:30 pm cam and went and Brett was a no show.  I called Brett around 2:30pm to see if he was coming for the walkthrough but I only got his voicemail.  I waited around until 3pm (Note: I couldn't wait any longer as this was my final walkthrough time on my house before closing) but Brett never showed.  Honestly, at this point I was thinking about eating the $200 off Big Deal coupon as I needed the trees cut down no later than 3 September and I was afraid I couldn't count on Brett to meet the timeline since he missed our walkthrough appointment.  At approximately 3:30pm on 26 August I received a phone call from Brett apologizing for missing our appointment.  He stated that he had thought our appointment was for 3:30pm to 4pm.  We agreed to reschedule for 9am on Tuesday, 27 August and I immediately called my realtor to get permission to access the property during this timeframe.  Brett met me promptly at 9am the following morning and we did the walkthrough.  He quoted me a price of $1,500.00 to remove and trim all the trees I designated.  I almost choked on the price but Brett told me he would do the job for $1,100.00 with the Big Deal coupon.  I took his new offer and he said he would get the designated trees cut down and trimmed within 5 days (29 August through 2 September).  Note: 31 August through 2 September was Labor Day weekend.  As promised, Brett's two man crew (led by Andrew) showed up at 9am on Friday, 30 August 2013 and removed all the designated trees, ground all the remaining stumps and trimmed the two trees I had requested. They did quality work and picked up all the dead limbs and wood and hauled them to the street for pickup and removal by other members of the Advantage TLC team.  Unfortunately, because it was the beginning of Labor Day weekend no one from Advantage TLC picked up the chopped wood or tree limbs until Thursday, 4 September.  This wasn't exactly ideal as these limbs covered half of my front yard which doesn't tend to endear you to your new neighbors.  However, it was a long weekend and they did eventually come and remove all the dead limbs and chopped wood.  Despite the problems getting in contact with them initially and the missed walkthrough appointment I would use this company again based on the quality tree removal work they did for me.

I called them on a Sunday night because we heard a distinct cracking noise coming from one of our backyard trees and found that it was spit right down the middle, the only thing keeping it from hitting the neighbors shed was the fence. They came out the next morning and cut that tree down and trimmed up the rest of my trees. They did a very good job. Only complaint I have is that it took about 2 weeks for them to come back and get all the limbs and trunk from the trees. But in their defence, this was sort of an emergency and they took time from an already busy schedule to come out and take care of the split tree. So between the work they were already committed to, I understand why it took a while for them to come back. They didn't ask for payment until they picked everything up. I would hire them again. Nice people. I didn't notice that they had a coupon.. I could have saved about $35.00. Oh well!!

A neighbor's tree fell on our storage building completely destroying it.  I needed to get a tarp over the remains to protect from the rain coming in two days.  I called Advantage on a Sunday, not expecting an answer, and not only got an answer, but he offered to come out that evening if necessary.  We agreed that Monday morning would be fine, and he showed up as scheduled, with his equipment and crew,  to give me an estimate and then immediately perform the job.
The crew was friendly and hard working, and completed the job quickly, even offering to tack the tarp over the damage for me.  The cleanup was excellent, hauling away other debris, and trimming some small trees that grew through the fence.
I couldn't be more pleased, and will have them back to remove a large branch from another tree that is hanging over my deck cover.

We had several tree stumps in our yard. We dug one out ourselves. It took a lot of backbreaking work and took a long time. We decided to have someone come out and grind the rest of the stumps. It was worth it! They did not give us an actual time that they would come. They gave us a time frame of two weeks when they would come. They happened to come a day my parents were watching the kids at our house and they got it done. We're very pleased!

We had our yard cleaned which was piled high and deep. They are very good. We have had them for several years.  They are very conservative and reliable. When they do something they do it pretty reasonably.  We have two oak trees in our front yard that drops tons of leaves.  They cleaned it spick and span and I am very satisfied. I have used them for about six years. They came out and used a blower to pile up the leaves in stacks and they put the stacks of leaves in their holders and hauled them away so that there was no mess in our yard anymore.  They trimmed the grass and we have several types of grass.  They trimmed it all very neatly and hauled all the trim grass as well. Their price is about average.  There is a wide range of pricing. You can get kids out of college doing it for pretty cheap and you can get people with expensive equipment doing it expensively. Advantage is sort of in the middle in their pricing. When they are crowded they are crowded like everybody else but when they say they would be here they are here.
