BAILEY'S FLOOR COVERING

Had all carpet in the house replaced and vinyl installed in kitchen, bathrooms, entryway, and utility room. We went with Bailey's even though they were quite a bit more expensive than other quote we got because we liked the carpet and vinyl they had best and we prefer to use a local company when possible. I had already removed all the carpet and wood flooring before they did the job. It took 4 days to complete the work which was an extra day over what was quoted, but the weather was a factor so this wasn't a big deal. Overall we like the work that was done, but we do have a few issues with what we came into once finished. My wife spent over 3 hours vacuuming up loose carpet bits throughout the house. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but it seemed excessive to us. They also didn't remove any baseboards to do the vinyl so you can see where it was cut and it wasn't cut perfectly straight. They filled the gap between baseboards and vinyl with caulk, but it wasn't put in evenly so there are small gaps that aren't filled in very well. This may all be normal procedure, but for what we paid I did expect a little higher quality level of work. I doubt I use them again when we have our garage converted to a living space.
