Had to reschedule because he did not show up the first time. When he was two hours late the second time when he actually did show up. He did not do the work I asked him to do. Instead he did what he wanted to which was use my garden hose to clean out the outside unit. Then he disappeared for 2 hours even though I told him I had an appointment. He showed back at 7:30 that night and replaced an air filter I had put in the week before.he said if that did not fix the problem, that his work was guaranteed for a year and he would come back and actually do what I asked him to do. Which was to clean out the coils inside the house. But when I called back they told me they had fired him and they would not honor his work. Even though he represented the company when he performed the work before. And that I would have to pay another $230 for them to diagnose the problem. The guy that originally sent out to do the work who was fired was a complete weirdo. He actually looks very scared to be in my house. He was extremely edgy and acted all spooked like he was on drugs. He looked at my kids from. And I had to have them wait in the other room. I have since heard many complaints similar to mine. And have learned they hire pedophiles and people out of work release.

The technician promptly answered the phone and assisted us in resolving the matter through the phone call. We were not charged for his time on the phone. We received a call from Wards the next morning to check on us and to see if they could be of further assistance. The unit was working fine so, no assistance was needed. Strongly recommend Wards!

The service call was placed on Thursday, October 25 around 9 AM.  The
dispatcher scheduled service for the following Wednesday, October
31st for 1 PM. She stated that was the first available appointment.  On Tuesday, October 30th the dispatcher called and stated the service needed to be re-scheduled to 3:00 - 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 31st.   
On October 31st,  the technician phoned around 10:00 AM and stated that he could come out in about an hour or so if that was convenient for me.  I was very happy to reschedule to an earlier time period.  He phoned when he left his first service call to let me know he was on his way.   When he arrived he apologized for the delay in service.  He was not aware that I was without heat until that morning, when he looked at his service tickets.  That is why he phoned and made himself available earlier. He was very nice and professional.
Unfortunately, the switch stopped working again.  I contacted the company on Monday, November 5th, around 3:45 pm to inform them. A service call was scheduled for Tuesday, November 6th between 2:00 - 3:00 PM.  The technician phoned and requested to stop by earlier.   He was unable to determine the reason the heater was not working and requested a specialist.
The specialist phone prior to his arrival on November 7th.  He was very professional and determined the problems and corrected the issues.   He replaced a bad thermostat, thermocouple and pulled and cleaned the pilot orifice.
The Ward's service men wear uniforms and drive white vans with the Ward's Air Conditioning logo prominently displayed. They always phone ahead to inform you they are on their way.
