STATEWIDE ROOFING

Description of Work: I am the caretaker of the gentleman who signed a roof contract with Arkhoma Roofing, a local roofing company that has excellent credentials. Two weeks before the roof was scheduled to be done by Arkhoma Roofing, StateWide Roofing got on my employers roof and started tearing off the shingles. My employer immediately called Don at Arkhoma Roofing and told him that there were roofers on his roof and they weren't Arkhoma's roofers. Don showed up on the job and found that they were at the wrong address. He discussed the issues with the owner of StateWide Roofing's son, and he agreed that they would repair the holes they caused and cover the roof with a synthetic material (which belonged to Arkhoma Roofing). Don left to check on his other jobs he had going and StateWide Roofing left. They let the tear off trash they caused blow all over the neighborhood and they did not repair the holes they caused. They don't believe they did anything wrong and won't pay for the damages they caused. It turns out that they are out of Moore, OK and aren't even a local company. They told my employer that the guys were tired and misread the address. I wouldn't recommend them to do anything. Tia Tewks
