They were wonderful. The backhoe operator helped us pick the best spot to put our storm shelter to avoid all the drainage our backyard has when it rains. The guys that came out to inspect and service our aerobic septic system were friendly and helpful. There was a lot about our septic system that we did not know and they walked us through how it works and things we can do to keep it working.

Swift, VERY professional, and amazing to watch - like a wave of a wand and from bare lawn to installed in under the three hours we were told to expect. Quality work!

Price is approx as I don't remember exactly. This company services septics but will not empty or pump one out. They do service while I'm gone so cannot not attest to what they do or how well they do it. They do leave behind a card to tell you what services they performed. No known issues to date.
Response from Biggs Backhoe & Trucking
"We are not a septic pumping company, so it is true that we will not empty the tank. We offer a semi-annual routine service policy for $235. This includes two visits per year. It is very typical for homeowners to be at work when we show up to do our service. It is not necessary for the homeowner to be present, but we are always happy to make an appointment if they would like to meet us on site. We document all of our readings and are happy to provide the homeowner with a full report upon request. Our records indicate that as long as we have serviced this system, it has always been maintained to exceed Oklahoma's requirements."

Update: During the installation, the turbine had received damage. I was told by the crew that they would order another one and send someone out to fix it. And you know what? They actually did what they said they were going to do. I couldn't be happier with my choice for storm shelter install. Thanks again Biggs Backhoe and Hausner Castings!

It was about $2500. It was very good. It was definitely a good price. They also did their work, we got a 5 acres where we live so we're going to need them again for that.

I had the yard marked with white paint and they installed it at least a foot from it. They dug up my sprinkler line ( that happens) but then instead of leaving it uncovered, they back filled it. I was also left with the impression that they could dump the dirt a hundred or so feet away in a vacant lot (had builder OK), but when asked they wanted additional dollars. The folks on the phone need to stipulate that they will only pile the dirt on your yard if you don't want it hauled away. The owner was understanding and he knocked off a little for back filling the lines. My fun was digging and finding the sprinkler lines then repairing. I think I might have been fine if they had been kind enough not to cover them back up. Overall they did a good job, seems level but I probably won't use them again.
Response from Biggs Backhoe & Trucking
"It is true that the customer had the yard marked. It was a single line marking where the cellar was to go. He left his wife at home to meet my crew. When asked which side of the line, she did not know. My operator and the wife measured off of the property line and agreed that the cellar could go behind the line. In the process of digging the hole for the shelter a sprinkler line was cut. The shelter was installed and back-filled as usual. In order to not cover up the sprinkler line cut we would have had to leave a portion of the cellar open. We never leave a portion of a cellar unfilled because if we were to get a heavy rain the cellar could float. The job was complete and my crew left. The husband actually came home before my guys left. He and his wife got into a argument about the situation and both got in their own vehicles and left without paying for the shelter. However, previous to his leaving he said to my operator, "why would you listen to a woman anyway, they don't know anything." As to removing the dirt, he in no way was told that we would move dirt at no charge. We have been in this business for 34 years and we have never, nor will we, remove dirt at no charge. Since this man was off of work, or retired, that day why did he leave his wife there to direct my crew if she KNEW NOTHING?????"

I also am using them now for an overnight septic system control box emergency repair because of heavy rains. I am kind of neutral on them; it is about the only game in town. They are responsive.

We live about an hour from Bigg's and a representative drove all the way out to our house to see if it was even possible to access our backyard for an in ground shelter. The rep was very professional and knowledgeable. We immediately called the office and scheduled an installation. We chose the in ground shelter with the flagstone design and could not be more pleased with the appearance - it was not that much more in cost - it would have cost much more if we had done it ourselves. The installers were very punctual and professional. The installation process took about two hours. We sent pictures to our friends and co-workers. We highly recommend Bigg's for anyone who is planning on purchasing a storm shelter.

They were awesome. They worked with me. I told them that I wanted to guy the storm shelter at the state fair and they did not bill me until the storm shelter was completely installed. They used completely up to date tools and made the shelter completely level and put it right where I wanted it.
