I had asked for a bid from Mr. Sanders to repair several cracks that followed the masonry seams in our home. These were observed when we purchased our home in 2007. Mr Sanders bid for this job was about twice what I was given allowance for by the seller of the home, but he insisted that he would be thorough and do a quality job, which he did. He performed this service in the fall of 2007 shortly after our mailbox had been hit by a young man. I awarded the reconstruction of the mailbox to the chosen contractor given to me by the father of the young man who had the accident. This was a big mistake as the contractor was a total amateur (Environmental Waste Services (918) 576-4813 -- don't use them for masonry work! They actually used several items from me to do the work and asked for additional pay beyond the bid). I did award Mr. Sanders the job to do my home, however and when he came to do that I informed him that I had given the mailbox job to another contractor. He pointed out several problems with the mailbox - many of which I was aware of. Approximately one year later, my mailbox was hit again by a second time by a teen-aged young woman. This time I called Mr. Sanders who came and did the work which was paid for by the insurance of the driver. Although the price was not cheap ($800) the work was exccellent quality. Mr. Sanders is a general purpose mason who does brick, rock, block and repairs of several kinds, including ou tdoor fireplaces.
Description of Work: Mr Sanders performed two services for us: 1) restored a mailbox which had been knocked down, 2) he repaired cracks in our home masonry which had developed due to settling and poor construction.
