I was intending to use Lowe's to install a privacy fence in my yard. I called Lowe's of Owasso at 5:02 p.m. to set up the estimate to begin the process of starting to get the fence completed. I was transferred three times before a young gentleman answered the phone. He finished his conversation before he answered, "Lumber." I stated that I wanted to get an estimate on a privacy fence, he said, "Hold on." He at that time held the phone out from him, and yelled, "Hey, this lady wants an estimate on a privacy fence." At that time someone, yelled in response, "it's after 5". The gentleman on the phone had him repeat what he had said, and he again replied, "It's after 5." At that time the gentleman on the phone replied, "Then what am I doing talking to this lady on the phone?" and he hung up.
I did call the store back and ask to speak to a manager, and after receiving the third degree about why I wanted to speak to a manager, I was allowed to speak to him. I explained what happened and he stated he was on his way to that department to speak to the people in that department. I just hope no one else called after 5 because they won't get service.

Terrible installers. Did damage to my home and to the brand new expensive hardwood flooring they just installed, put scrapes on freshly painted walls, put a scratch in brand new storm door glass, left cigarette butts all over property, sawed the wood in my home. They scratched the new floors and told me to just take a sharpy and it would cover it up. When they left I had sawdust all over everything and in curtains on light fixtures. Then they said my floor was not level and Lowes let them set their own price to pour 4 bags of self leveling cement on my floors and they left for 4 days. That cost me an additional 1100.00 on top of the 6800 that I already spent. When I contacted Lowes about it they said, I had to pay it because my floors were already torn up. It was a nightmare. Took them a week to put in 500 square feet of flooring. Lowes said, " Sorry here's 100.00 gift card" and sent me on my way. I contacted corporate with photos of the damage and they directed me to the Owasso store.

I was very disappointed in the process. When we decided to go with Lowe's I intended to use my Lowes credit card in order to receive the 5% discount. When I attempted to use my card it was declined so I paid using an alternative method. I called the credit card company they asked me to update my annual salary information and then I was approved for future purchases. Okay maybe this one was my fault but I would have thought there would be a better process than waiting until the customer is attempting to buy something. When we purchased the materials the sales associate that assisted us stressed the importance of getting the materials early and storing them inside our home for a few days due to the humidity and internal /external temperatures. We scheduled the delivery of materials for a Friday between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm. After waiting most of the day I called Lowes and explained that after investing most of the day waiting on them I thought it would be reasonable to schedule an appointment for a specific time for the delivery. We agreed that the materials would be delivered at 8:00 am the next morning. When they still had not arrived by 9:00 am I called the store and about twenty minutes later the delivery guys called me from local convenience store and said they would arrive in about 30 minutes. True to their word they arrived about 30 minutes later making them a couple of hours late for the appointment. When they arrived the driver of the truck tried repeatedly to convince me that he should just sit the pallet of materials in the garage. I explained that the sales associate made a point to tell me it must be stored inside the house. Finally, his helper convinced him that they could unload the pallet and put it in the house. The installers showed up when they said they would and I was very hopeful that my experience was going to change. It took three days to complete the work and they only failed to show up once. When he could not show up on time he called ahead and explained that he was having trouble due to some significant weather we had the previous night. Totally understandable and Iappreciated the call. After a couple of days I noticed that some of the transitions were not secured very well and I called Lowes to see if they would come out and make the repairs. We scheduled a date more than a week out and when the day came, the installers did not show up. I went back to Lowes and complained and they said they would call the installers. The individual installer called me and apologized for the office making the mistake and of course the office called and apologized for the installer having a "brain fart". We re-scheduled for the repairs and the installer did come out. He re-glued some of the transitions and actually put a screw in one piece of the transition! He said he would try to return the following day and he did call but we were at our Grandsons football game. I have not heard from them since. So after more than a month, I have a pice of transition in the middle of my floor with a screw sticking out of it, two places where the glue has seeped and is visible at the transition, wood trim around the refrigerator that was not even nailed into place: and most importantly I have a credit card that will supposedly work at a store I do not envision shopping at again.

They did a pretty good job. Their prices and the quality of work they did were good. They had several people calling me to make sure the work was going smoothly. They even called after the work was done to make sure it was done correctly. They tried to make sure I was satisfied with the work which was being performed.
