Michael and his crew, through careful troubleshooting and the use of current analysis technology, correctly diagnosed and then repaired a cold running issue with our 2002 GMC Denali Pick-up.  We were very impressed with his professionalism, he contacted us during the repair period to update us on what they had found and how it was being corrected.  I stopped by one evening in order to get something from the cab while the truck was being repaired , and I found their shop to be very clean and neat; again, professional would describe it.   The bill was exactly what he told me it was going to be, not a penny more.  The truck was ready to be picked up when he told us it would be, with no delays.  We recommend Hometown Auto Repair highly, and will be using them again!

My old Jeep had been running rough for several weeks. With one hour of labor and no parts, Mike had it running like new. He pointed out a couple of other problems that needed attention and quoted very reasonable prices.
Mike also replaced a water pump on my son's jeep at a very reasonable price a few months back. I would highly recommend this place.

I have used Hometown Auto many times and I am so happy to find a mechanic that listens to me, a woman. He is respectful and conscience of time. This time my engine was misfiring. Michael changed plugs, wires, and coil and explained why. I was HAPPY to pay him! He also found a hose that had been repaired but needed replacing. He tracked down the part for my 2004 Ford van and with 185k miles, it runs great!

I had a "check engine soon" light on my dash. One area mechanic reset the light and said it was just a service light. The light was back on the next day. I did a search for mechanics in the Owasso area and decided to give Michael at Hometown a try. I am certainly glad I did. Michael diagnosed the problem quickly and talked me through solutions to fix the engine of my Nissan. He is very thorough and while doing repairs, replaced several hoses, etc. that could become future issues at no charge. Jessica is very efficient and together she and Michael make a very good team. My only fear is too many people will read this review and the business becomes too successful to fix my cars ;)

While sitting at another auto shop, frustrated, I googled auto repair shops in my area and found Hometown Auto Repair. Because of the good reviews I found on-line, I immediately headed over to Hometown. I had a check engine light on in my older truck which no one could diagnose properly and the blend door of my air conditioner needed to be replaced. The owner's wife took me home while he checked my truck over and in less than a couple of hours, he had the check engine light problem diagnosed. He also was thorough enough to find several other problems. He explained everything in detail, and let me decide what to fix .. no pressure. In order to replace the blend door, he had to remove the dash of the truck and while he had it off, he checked everything under it before putting it back on. While he was doing the repairs he quoted, he found a few more little things and repaired them at no charge. This truck has been in different shops numerous times in the last few months and no other shop I used told me of the problems. The estimate quoted was what I paid. I was very impressed that he didn't just focus on one thing, but rather looked at the truck as a whole. Very impressed and will use him for all my auto repairs.
