Would definitely used them again!
One of the studs was not made level with the roof line and they shingled over it instead of correcting the problem and then shingling it.
Now one of the valleys has a leak after all the rains we've had on a 9 year old roof. I think a monkey with a hammer could have done a better job roofing this house. This is NOT sour grapes. I urge anyone looking at this contractor to do any of your roofing work to stay FAR AWAY. Worst work I've ever seen, and now I will be out the expense to have it done correctly.
"Workmanship warrantee on new construction homes are for three years, not ten. The builders and developer of that particular addition chose to have houses in that addition roofed with the minimum (lightest) 3-tab shingles available. Anytime the winds exceed 50 MPH, (of which there has been many storms) those type of shingles tend to loosen (zipper) and blow off. We will gladly (prefer to) install a better, heavier upgraded shingle if the builder (or potential buyer) is willing to pay the difference. On new construction jobs, we only install the shingles. We don't frame the building or install the decking. If there is a problem with the way it is framed or decked, that should be taken up with the builder, not the roofer."
We have had virtually zero rain since our roof was replaced so a bit more time needs to pass before we render a final statement on the job.
