Bud Haynes Heating & Air Cond

I paid this company for an inspection of the AC in my new home before I purchased it. I was told the AC unit was is good working order. In the spring when the weather got warmer I turned the unit on and the AC was not in working order. I called Haynes and they sent someone out to replace the TXV. They didn't retain the 8lbs of freon so I was charged 200.00 for that and another 235. for labor and the TXV. The unit still wasn't cooling. It took weeks but they finally came out again and messed with the ducts and the unit was up and running really well. Two months into the summer I ran the AC quit a bit and noticed water damage on my living room ceiling and hallway. When a friend climbed up into the unit space he found foil pans, plastic bags and saturated clothing that he actually had to climb over in order to get to the unit. I contacted Bud Haynes and explained the situation and confronted him on the bogus inspection and the fact that he didn't report the mess up there when the AC was serviced. He came to my home and pledged to rectify the situation by refunding the freon, fixing the leak and giving me an estimate on a new AC. After weeks of him blowing off my phone calls, forwarding my calls into voice mail and promising to have someone over "this afternoon" I decided to lay off until this spring. I have now been hounding him for 2 weeks now. His secretary says he is on his way each day and he never comes. I even went to his office and got the same runaround. I found a new AC guy to fix the situation in one afternoon. I will never recommend or use Bud Haynes for even walking my dog. He is very unprofessional and a con artist. Home buyers beware,,,,,,,,I found out later that he is related to my Realtor.
