I never noticed any difference so i did not sign up again after my initial deal.  The yard looked exactly the way it did when they were hired after 3 x $40 applications.  Not even a slight noticeable change in the way the yard looked.

They come every month or so and put down treatments for weeds and then fertilize. Our lawn looks a lot better since we started getting them. They always let you know when they're coming and leave a notice of what you need to do next (water within the next few days, etc.). They give a discount if you pay early.

It went pretty well but I haven't had them back out since. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work.

They were overbooked when we contacted them but they let us know that upfront. They were kind of the highest rated company on Angie's List and they were getting a lot of inquiries at that time. It ended up taking longer. They had said, "Well, we probably would not be able to get out there until a month." It was probably closer to maybe two months before they were able to finally start working on the job but once they did start working, I was happy with the work that they did.

The work crew for lawn and yard work is not consistent every time. It seems the crew changed from one week to the next. Had to inform them where not to mow and edge, twice.
During the month of September lawn work has occurred every Tuesday. When the growing season is over, it will be every other week.
Overall Turf Works is working out very well...I will have to see what autumn and the winter will bring.

They're very good and they come like unmasked with their shirts and their logos. They were very professional and we basically get a quarterly services so they just been since we used them one time they did a very nice job. I did like them very much because I wanted to do some things and the guy said if I do that it's like they did know the planner.

It went alright.

They came, they did their job quickly, and they left a note on the door when they were done.

Tristan was very efficient as well as informative and he discussed our lawn condition, making suggestions for treatment options.
While the service representative was here, we also had him look briefly at a relative's lawn just across the street and gave us a price for treatment of that lawn. We were very satisfied with the results of the treatment and with Tristan as a representative of the company. When financial circumstances permit, we intend to contract with TurfWorks for regular treatment and maintenance of our lawn.

It was so and so. They seemed to know what they were doing. Once they came out they were all right. It seemed like I had to call them to double check on them to get them come out. The price was ok with the big deal. It was a big deal purchase. I am not planning to use them in the future.

They had to come back three times. I wasn't happy with what they did. They came back and tried to make it right and were nice about it.

For the actual services that they provided, they did a great job and they have excellent price. But when we had them come back out to give us another quote on doing more services, we never received that quote.

Very professional. Prompt. Good service.

It was good. He came out and did what he needed to do. That section of the lawn looks better.

After purchasing the Deal, it rained for a week solid, so it was awhile before they were able to come out and our yard definitely needed to be mowed at that point. Our lot is .22 acres, so it was just under the and quot;up to .25 acresand quot; specified in the deal.


The crew showed up and I put the dogs inside and they got to work. I didn't even realize they had finished and gone, which was my only complaint. I wish they had given me the opportunity to confirm everything was satisfactory before departing. They failed to mow along the outside of the fence in our alley, which is our responsibility.


Since they were so efficient and everything else looked great, I opted not to call the company about it. But I had also purchased a deal for weed control and when they came, I let them know the alley had not been mowed, but that I did want it treated for weed control - and it was.


In spite of missing the alley, I was very impressed with this company and have recommended them to friends who are looking for lawncare companies. They are doing an excellent job and I would definitely use them again!

I used this company because Angies List, sent me their name and number after purchasing a and quot;Big Dealand quot; coupon.
My appointment was made quickly, the man doing the spraying arrived right on time with a professional appearance and mannerism. The chemical that was used worked very well on post emergent weeds.
I was treated with respect, even though I didn't purchase additional services outside what was offered in the coupon. I would've loved to have been able to have more of my acreage sprayed, but it wasn't in the budget. Even so, the man never pressured or lectured about what needed to be, or should have been done. He did what I paid for, and even gave me a discount coupon for any future lawn needs I may have.
I was pleased to enjoy a front yard weed free for the rest of the season.
I've only used the company this one time, but with the results I got from this one visit, I will not hestitate to call them when spring rolls around again, and I am comfortable with recommending this company to my friends and family.

I set a date for Turf Works to come out to take care of my lawn. The new growth season had just begun and I wanted get it taken care of before the was at 3 inches tall. When I called they stated they only serviced my area of metro OKC one day a week. This was a day I work and could not be at home. They stated I was not needed since both front and back yard areas were accessible and no animals were present. The first date passed without the work completed. It did start raining in the latter part of the afternoon so I thought they would make up their absence in a few days or at least call to reschedule since I had been adamant about needing their services ASAP. This did not happen. A week later they did come out to mow. When I returned home after work I was pleased to see a mowed lawn. That is, until I got to my driveway to see it close up. They had mowed it to a height of 3 inches when instead I had requested it be mowed and quot; very shortand quot; for the first mowing of the season. They also failed to edge my sidewalk and driveway AND no weed eating whatsoever had been done. The weeds along my backyard fence line were 6-8 inches tall as were the weeds in the one (1) and only cleared area around 1 bush and 1 tree in the front yard. I have to admit I did not call them to complain. By the time I got past being angry (about 3 days) an urgent family situation had occurred and the neglect of Turf Works to perform satisfactorily was a lesser priority. I would never recommend their services.

and are very proactive in notifying of the scheduled service and leaving a notification on our door so we may water within the alloted time for the fertilization. Our lawn has minimal weeds (just on perimeter) and is very green.

It went well overall and this company is worth looking at if you need yard work.

I purchased two Buy Now deals through Angie's List to have one full law mowing and weed spraying. It was difficult to get in contact with Turfworks by phone or by email. I tried multiple times leaving messages with no response. I was about to try and get my money back and tried one last time and spoke to a representative who was very nice and apologetic. We set up two separate times for lawn mowing and weed spraying. Then the rain started. No one showed up on the day we had scheduled. I never received a phone call or an email. I assumed it was due to the week of rain. I called the following week (grass is getting out of control) to find out what had happened and to reschedule. Once again I could not reach anyone by phone or email. When I did finally reach someone, I explained that I was upset that I was not able to reach anyone to discuss the delay in service. Once again they were apologetic using the rain as an excuse that things were not being attended to properly. We set up another time for both services. The mowing was not the worst I've ever seen but certainly performed hastily. Since the mowing had been pushed back more than two weeks the grass was quite tall. Clippings were piled up all around the yard and haphazardly blown all over the place. There is an ally behind my house which has grass behind my car port which was completely ignored. The spraying on the other hand went just fine and was very effective.
A few months later I received a call from a sales person from Turfworks who offered several services including mowing, weed spraying, fertilizing, and fall seeding (which I explained was needed badly). After receiving the proposal via email I called back to schedule a lawn mowing to and quot;test the watersand quot;. After finally reaching someone I explained that I would like to have the lawn mowed one time. She immediately told me that Turfworks does not perform one time lawn service and that the price on the estimate was for every other week mowing. At this point I decided that I was done with Turfworks for good and explained that because I had a bad experience previously I was only willing to have Turfworks perform one job in order to see how things went. Unfortunately Turfworks does not seem to care that shoddy service was provided in the past and would prefer to lose business.
If you like frustration use them (or try to). Otherwise seek lawn services elsewhere.

I FIRST BOUGHT A COUPON FOR MOWING AND BLOWING. THEY TOLD ME WHEN THEY WOULD MOW THE LAWN BUT IT RAINED. I HAD AN EMAIL WHEN I GOT HOME STATING DUE TO THE RAIN IT WOULD BE MONDAY. THEY CAME ON MONDAY AND DID A GREAT JOB.
I DID NOT HIRE THEM RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE MY HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION DUES COVER LAWN MOWING. I FINALLY FIRED THE COMPANY DOING THE MOWING FOR THE THE HOWNOWNER ASSOCIATION AND HIRED TURFWORKS. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL IN THE WAY THEY DO BUSINESS AND THEY ARE THERE WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL BE THERE. IT IS SO EASY HAVING THEM AUTO BILL MY CREDIT CARD. I HAVE RECOMMENDED TO THE HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION THEY GET A QUOTE FROM TURFWORKS. I UNDERSTAND THEY HAD A MEETING AND I REALLY HOPE THEY CONTRACT THEM TO DO THE ENTIRE WOODCREEK DIVISION.

The price was good but when it was all over it looked like that they missed a lot of spots. They were sorry about it and re-did those spots but still it didn't look that great. They were very friendly and seemed that they really wanted to do a good job but they had a problem with their equipment.
