My name is Steve. Stump grinding is my only business. I will grind to 6" below the surface. A stump grinder will get rid of your stumps but they generally leave an area that needs to be dressed up with a rake. Ideally, stumps need to be no more than about 6" high. I am not an arborist, so I do not cut or remove trees although I do keep a chainsaw for small jobs.
