0/10 recommend. Timbercraft did a terrible low quality job building my house and two years later it burned down due to a faulty gas fireplace installation - my dog died in the fire and all our stuff burned up with him.

6 months later and I’m still finding things they did not complete or do correctly. We decided. It to even call them anymore. We have hired several contractors to come and fix the stuff they didn’t do correctly. Every contractor must be new because they just don’t know how to do it. We hired new painters because the foreman came out and told us there wasn’t much they could do about the paint job since the owner brother in law or whatever is the painter. Had to hire sprinkler people to fix the sprinklers. Floors still need to be fixed. Windows need to be fixed. Shoot!!! Our back door wouldn’t even open or close when we moved. And hinges… we have multiple colored door hinges. Not a good look!!! STAY AWAY FROM TIMBERCRAFT!!

They raised the elevation of the lot which caused flooding in our 8 year old home. When we brought it to their attention, they told us to deal with it. We now structural damage as well.

BUYER BEWARE! Owner Jack Evans and his staff truly "Take the customer out of building a custom Home". Having his company build our dream home was a big mistake. Over one year into construction and still not finished. Every sub-contractor Timbercraft used had to make multiple trips to the house to finish the job because of mistakes or simply lack of skill.. The painters were by far the worst, especially at doing specialty finishes. We ended up taking over the specialty paint finishes ourselves because their subs just could not get it done without creating more damage than progress. I could write a book on the nightmare problems caused by Timbercraft's sub-contractors in building our dream home. Timbercraft will try to lure you in with a GREAT PRICE but then you find out all the fixtures and appliances you are budgeted for are of "Tract-home" quality hardly suitable for a "custom Home". Try to call Jack Evans the owner to discuss issues, well good luck. The man has an office full of minions to be his mouthpiece. The one time I actually talked to him on the phone I was yelled and belittled like I was some kind of idiot. Timbercraft needs to stick to trac-homes/spec building, they DO NOT have the quality of Subs to build Custom homes of quality. IN SHORT, DISRESPECTFUL TO THE CUSTOMER, INEPT SUB-CONTRACTORS, HORRIBLE FOREMAN WHO NOT ONCE HAD THE HOUSE PLANS WITH HIM WHEN WE MET HIM ON THE JOB-SITE. ARGUMENTATIVE EMPLOYEES WHO HAD NO IDEA ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Horrible experience.  Awful sub-contractors.  Not one got it right the first time and some took 3 times.  had to fire painters and trim carpenters.  5 months late on completion.  Company employees treated me like second class citizen.  Foreman not once had plans when we would meet to discuss problems.  Owner went MIA after signing contract, would not answer phone calls or meet me at job-site.  Been in house 5 months and still trying to get things finished. Spent thousands of dollars above and beyond contract price to get paint and some of the trim carpentry correct.  Owner yelled/screamed at me over phone the one time I did talk to him.
