They did this in just one day. I was very happy with them. There customer service was great, they were fast and the most certainly know what they are doing. I don't know how long they have been in business, but I know it has been many years.  I highly recommend Mac Man if you have problems with you mac computer.  Forget about all the other geeks go to the professionals.

He was good, and did a good service. I didn't understand anything about Mac, because I am more of a PC guy, so he helped me transition everything from my PC to my MAC, and made it seamless.

After I had installed the latest release of Mountain Lion 10.8.3, the OS was utilizing too much of my RAM on my Macbook Air. With the assistance of telephone APPLE SUPPORT, I had downgraded my OS on my Macbook Air to Lion 10.7.5 to provide more free RAM so I could continue to utilize my laptop investment for a longer period of time. I had a good, verified backup of my laptop on my TIME CAPSULE, so we proceeded with reinitializing my Macbook Air and then restoring to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then upgrading to Lion 10.7.5. We then proceeded to use migration assistant and although we could mount the TIME CAPSULE drive, and could open the directory and see the SPARSE.BUNDLE backup, no utilities could mount the drive to migrate or restore my data. Apple had referred me to a company in California that would attempt to capture my data from the failing drive. The MINIMUM cost of this was $800 up to a maximum of $1500 and at least 1 week of turn around time (physical mailing included). After checking local listings, including Angie's List, I saw this was the only advertised local MAC shop that was MAC CERTIFIED. I called them and relayed the story, only 1 time and they immediately understood what the problem was. (It was more difficult to make APPLE understand what my needs were). I took my TIME CAPSULE in that afternoon. I received a more than fair quote for the work required which included a small diagnostic fee (which would be applied to the final price if they could fix it) to determine what the problem was and a potential plan of action. Within 48 hours, they had wonderful news! The TIME CAPSULE was severely fragmented but could be saved. They were able to recover all of my data, they copied it back to my Macbook Air and reformatted the TIME CAPSULE for less than HALF of the original quote from the California company. They are competent, reliable and fairly priced.

Very pleased experience. Ran into a problem with data bases and they were able to restore asap. Even offered to stay after hours to help.

Called Mac Man about noon on the 27th and dropped off my iMac at 12:30pm. Work on my iMac was complete shortly after 2pm on the 27th.
Excellent experience and I strongly recommend MacMan for those that need repair work done on their Mac.

The other company told us that we have to buy a new computer which would have cost us a lot more but Mac Man just installed a new hard drive. We got it fixed for a lot less. It's working perfectly now. I thought he was very reasonable considering the alternative. He did everything on time and did just what he said he would do. He checked with me during the process, to let me know what he found and gave me options as to, what I wanted to have it fixed. I was very happy with him.
