He came out and based on his checklist of potential issues he was able to determine a wire was loose. He also made sure that there weren't any additional issues. When he checked the chain he observed that it was loose and the door was not opening & closing evenly. Based on my observations, he was knowledgeable, thorough and reasonable in pricing. I'd recommend him to everyone.

Thomas from The Garage Door Guys returned my call promptly & actually came right over even tho it was at the end of the workday; he was prepared to fix the problem I had described but as it turned out the spring was broken he discovered...so he would have to get a spring & offered to come back the next business day, which he did & fixed it with efficiency, professionalism and friendliness. My garage door not only works now but is much quieter & smoother...highly recommend this company

Mr. Tarver arrived on time wearing a company shirt. He knew what he was doing and worked quickly and efficiently, allowing me to get to work in time for the morning commute.

Professional, fast, and smooth transaction

They were the only one to contact me same day (over the weekend). They offered to come out to fix it on Christmas Eve with no extra charge. He got there at the back end of the promised time window but were very quick once he got here. He installed two springs as opposed to the way it was originally with one spring so I feel like it will hold up better.

I called late in the afternoon. Thomas arrived in the early evening, diagnosed problem in a large very heavy old wood door. He left to find appropriate replacement brackets and new cables and worked until 10PM to get the door operable. He performed additional maintenance for smooth and quiet operation . Overall he went beyond my expectation to complete this job. Thomas exhibited extaordinary knowledge in this area and shared much useful maintenance information that will be useful to me as a homeowner. I will use his services again without hesitation. And l would add, his fee for this work was less than what I expected for the amount of time and effort involved.

I found Thomas Tarver who owns "The Garage Door Guys" on the Nextdoor app. He came out the next day and gave me an estimate for installing a new opener. It was 15 years old and not closing all the way. He even did an adjustment for me which enabled the door to close better without charging me. After getting ripped off by a company last summer to replace my springs I was determined to do some research and decided to order my garage door opener from Ebay and Thomas had told me how much he would charge to install it along with the charge to install another opener which his company offers. He knows his stuff and talked to me at length about my options. He was very professional and courteous and even killed a snake in my front yard for no charge! I will definitely use him again and am telling my neighbors about finding an honest garage door guy finally. He has a warranty on his work also.

Thomas replaced a bearing and adjusted some screws where track meets wall and lubricated everything well. He was able to come the day I called and diagnosed the problem immediately. Very pleased.

He was Johnny on the Spot and got there in about 20 minutes after I called. That thing runs smooth as butter now. Thomas came out and he really knew what he was doing, I didn't have any doubt about his abilities or the quality of his work. I'd recommend him to anybody.
