After I specifically asked for semi gloss due to areas that were being painter ended up with flat paint. They missed several spots throughout the house. When we tried to arrange for a touch up on spots they missed he set a date and never showed. At the time he was using the name Jay's Construction.

We bought one of those fixed price coupon deals from Angies. By the time all was said and done the cost was three times as much as the coupon. That was no doubt due to agreed modifications but I really believe the coupon deal was a waste of money. I'm not implying any impropriety by this contractor but I never got an explanation of how we got from 999 to 3k.
I would readily hire the contractor again but my feeling is that the Angie's coupon deals are a gigantic waste of money. This is more an indictment of the coupon process than the contractor.

That was like the worst experience I ever had. I paid them for three hours and he came with his wife and so they were going to do their three hour work and half the time. It was these two people but the wife was not doing much. The wife was just going and getting this and that and by the end of the three hours nothing much was done. I needed baseboards to a rental house and they only did one room. I mean I would think they are doing more than that for three hours one person and if it's going to be two people then it's going to be the same thing. I didn't get my money's worth. They did not meet my expectations at all. The baseboards were not applied correctly. They responded fast.

Paid $7000 to have two-story, aluminum sided historic home painted last October. Job was not "completed" until December and Dennis was constantly telling us they were working on it, although we rarely saw anyone there. They continuously asked for advances throughout the project and eventually ended up going over the original bid, but we agreed. In the end, when writing the final check we were all under agreement there were some spots missed, under painted and lots of general touch that needed to be done. They agreed to come back after the holidays and do so.... Several texts, emails and calls later nothing. If you need someone you can trust to do a quality job and communicate with you throughout the process then look elsewhere.

The only problem was an add-on to the job which I felt was over-priced.  I asked for a break-down of costs on that and it never was given.  I would use them again but with caution on pricing of work not included in the original bid.  .

It started with a couple of delays but was eventually done. Dennis asked for final payment before the job was finished which we did. Dumb mistake.bon our part. There were several areas of poor quality work. Dennis promised to remedy these and asked us to leave a note with details of the areas we would like corrected and the extra paint on the porch. He didn't show for scheduled date. I called and was told they had to get more paint. Then was told they had gotten the paint and would be out to finish. They never showed and stopped responding. We are left without any extra paint for touch ups and poor work in several areas.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!  DO NOT TRUST THIS CONTRACTOR!  HE IS IN MY OPINION A FORTH RATE SCAB CONTRACTOR THAT CANNOT AND WILL NOT DO WHAT HE SAYS, IS DISHONEST, UNTRUTHFUL, A LIAR AND IN MY OPINION A THIEF.  CAN'T EVEN FUND HIS OWN BUSINESS.  iS A CHEAT IN ALL RESPECTS.
On September 30, 2013, I purchased a Exterior Painting Package thru Angies List with Teague Construction Services for $1,299.00.  This of course was an initial package and understood that it would entail some additional charges to complete the package.

I purchased the package thru Angies List as a member with the confidence that the offering company was reputable with integrity and an honest contractor that had been screened by Angie?s employees as a solid and honest contractor.

The reason for using Angies list is that I am a !00% Disable Viet Nam Veteran on a fixed income from the VA, lame to some extent, unable to get around in a normal manner, with chronic arthritis especially when the weather changes.  So I need to have contractors I can depend on as honest with integrity.   As it has turned out, that has not been the case, has turned out to be dishonest and in my opinion is dishonest, a liar and a crook in all respects.

After talking with the owner of Teague Construction Services, Dennis Teague, we entered into the first of several Proposals/Agreements, first one dated 12-18-14.  The first ( 1st) Proposal was for external repairs and replacement of wood on structure per Proposal #1 attached hereto., along with Proposals # 2, 3, 4, 5.& 6.  ( To be emailed as an attachment once the resolution team is assigned and an Email address is provided.)

I had about 2/3rds of the materials necessary to make the required repairs and replacements to the structure and agreed to let Mr. Teague use the materials in my materials room as needed to accomplish same.  However, it seems Mr. Teague chose to ignore most of the rest of the replacements and repairs as shown by the attached photos.

On February 13th Mr.Teague informed me that he was finished with the work on my house except for a few items and that I would need to compile a Punch List with all the items I needed to have him complete, that he would be back the next day with his son and Mr.Teagues wife to start the work on the Punch List that was necessary to complete the job as outlined in the proposals, including Proposal #6.

As it turned out, Mr. Teague and his crew never showed up again, didn?t return calls or respond to emails, nor completed or even started on Proposal #6 for the west side deck with arboretum or refund the $2,000 deposit to start the work on the deck w/arboretum, of which I never authorized Mr. Teague to charge the deposit to my credit card, which I have a claim in with Barclays Bank for fraudulent charges on my account, unauthorized and for stacking charges on my account unauthorized which are now pending resolution.

The following is an outline of what was not done to the structure as outlined that should have been done per the proposals and attached photos.  Additional photos are available per email attachment as necessary to complete an evaluation in finalizing the claim for these disputed charges:  (This is just part of the Photos of the unfinished left incompleted and only part of the charges outlined.  An estimated of at least double these charges could be assessed from the additional photos of incomplete work that were neglected by Teague Construction and the Owner Dennis Teague)

These are really nice guys and very customer services oriented. We had a large hole in the wall of our kitchen where a plumber had cut through to repair an outside faucet. We purchased an Angie's Deal of $99 for $200 drywall repair. Since Teague was so highly rated, we opted to hire them for this project and to repair a hole left when the previous owner removed a towel rack in the master bathroom. Our estimate from Teague for all repair work was another $100. They were extremely busy this time of year making up for days missed due to bad weather...we had to reschedule a few times but they were very good about follow up. The work was quick and well done by Tom who also took a few minutes to counsel us about repainting. We are very satisfied and are considering hiring them again to do some tile repair in the master bath shower. They do all this type of work so we're happy to have the resource.

It was ok. They oversold and there was difficulties in scheduling. I was off quite awhile and it had to be convenient for me and then it was cold and certain work couldn't be done and they did not have the right tools. The deal was for 3 hours, but they stayed only for an hour and a half. The person in charge did not tell me that they didn't finish it and I had to call them back. Scheduling was the the problem and it took quite a while to come out and do the job.

First, they got more people to buy the deal than expected so there was a delay in getting them out. But I then had to reschedule once, and they worked with me. They put down the wrong date, but when I called, they sent someone right away. The work was done well and professionally (small repairs, plus shortening blinds). I would use them again for handyman or other small construction projects.

There were some scheduling complications and conflicts, so it took a while to get them out.  After they did come out, however, they worked to install the molding and deadbolt with professionalism and expertise despite a few complications.  I am happy with the final product.
