SOUTHARD LANDSCAPE AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
About us
One owner operator running a legal, licensed, insured business. I excel at demolition and construction of residential landscapes. Im just one man who actually knows everything about landscape. Ive done it half of my life. I may not have the best interpersonal or management skills but i do believe i am the best at what i actually do. Build residential landscapes. I have a family to feed so i really do insist on being paid after my jobs are done. I would be honored to build you a fence, irrigation system, or tend to your landscape in anyway i can. Please be advised I am not in this business for my health. Rather the money. I will guarantee my work. All you have to do is call me and make an appointment. I genuinely want to be of service.-Tim Southard

"this lady actually told me she loved the job . twice. when i asked if everything was good she said yes. her daughter , for whom I have never worked and never will , is the author of this lovely report. I tried to get her on the phone twice then i moved on to more profitable jobs. i am a person not a corporation. I will only take so much abuse then i will get my pay and leave. I will not be back. I am not sorry. At all."
"yes, lets not involve the city inspector because he will fine you for illegal wiring and a 9 inch deep gas line. get real"
"again. im one human being trying to build all of oklahoma citys landscape. People search for the lowest bid . I am not that. i dont even remember this person. neither do I care."
took 3 days.
The steps look great! I could not be happier with the service, price and outcome.
Overall it was a good experience, but not great. I expected greatness after reading the comment by others. I would recommend Tim to others because he's good for the price. My only concern is his tone when there are problems
"Southard Landscape is not a charity. If one has a budget for perfection then that is what one shall have. I will not be doing any out of state business after reading this report neither will I be doing any business with this man again. My reputation for integrity precedes me everywhere i go in business and otherwise."
"I love jobs like this. Truly my pleasure."
At some point I made it to Southard Landscaping on my list and gave them a call. I spoke with Tim (owner) briefly giving him an idea of what I wanted to do. I think he either showed up that afternoon or at lunch the next day at EXACTLY the time he said he would meet me at the house. (It's amazing how you get impressed by the little things...) We went over the project in detail. He looked everything over and got back to me the next day beating the only other estimate I had from a larger local landscaping outfit. I am a due diligence consumer though and kept searching after Tim came out....a few weeks later we were squaring away paperwork to get the work going.
I paid half upfront on a Saturday, they started on Monday and they had the job done from start to finish (demolition/irrigation/plant installation/re-sod) in about a week.
There were two unforeseen hangups that I will mention because of how they were handled. The pipe from the water main was located in an odd place when prepping for the irrigation system. Instead of waiting on someone to come out and use a locator Tim took a shovel (everything on the site was marked) and dug everywhere until he found it so as to not get off schedule. Another issue that occurred right after they had installed the irrigation and were waiting on the city to inspect everything was a torrential downpour of rain that filled everything up. Instead of waiting for it to dry out, they showed up and scooped out gallons of water so that the inspection could take place and work continue.
I was EXTREMELY pleased with the results and the outstanding professionalism that was displayed during the course of this project. I will be using Southard again in the future to clear trees in my backyard and possibly extend my irrigation system.
Thank you very much to Tim and his group for providing excellent customer service and an outstanding new front yard for my home.
"I spent $160 on herbicide, $80 on labor and $55 on disposal fees. Factor in the gas expense from my three visits to the property and you will see that I didn't charge enough. Anyone who doesn't like my price should call Total Environment, T.L.C., or Pitzers."
"This was an ideal job for me. Cut and dry. In and out ,no complications. Truly my pleasure. I wish I had jobs like this every day."
