Scotts Construction Inc.

Started off great, David Grahm came out and gave us a estimate and we agreed on it, per our loan they needed to bid high and refund whats was not used because the bank would write the check when we signed the papers and give it to them when work was completed. After working out a bid list and submitting it to the bank we gave them the okay to start. then it went down hill. the workers never showed up when they said they would, David Grahm would never answer our calls, he would call us back. When they came out the guys looked like bums, ( uncut/over grown hair very dirty) and acted like it was their first time, Don's hvac guy (very nice guy) complained about how Don owes him money. They took about 4 times as long to get the work done, lied about doing work we watched them not do or did a poor job doing. So end the end we told them that was enough and agreed they would give us the remaining funds not used. $1800, never recieved a check and now they wont call us back or return emails.

11/13/13 Job that was to finish before Thanksgiving 2013 was not completed until late January 2014. Workers would not show up when promised and they were promised all the time. Cabinets in living room and molding in entrance area ,dinning room and that were to be  refinished were just rubbed with some kind of restoration chemical after it was initially understood that they were to be sanded, resprayed and made to look fresh and new. A new wood floor was installed in kitchen and living area. The floor popped in at least 30 different areas. When Scott's was contacted we were promised they would be fixed the next day. That did not happen and it took two weeks and several phone calls to get it fixed and there are still some areas that need fixing. When problems were brought to the attention of the Scott's representative I was personally told to back off. There were over 11 days during the period 11/13/13  1/13/14 that workers were scheduled to work but never showed up. And I would caution anyone considering this company to not let them work on Saturday. We made the last payment on 1/13/14 after showing their representative the problem with the floor and the finish on the book shelves. It took two week of constant calling to get the floor fixed and that when I was told to back off. There are many other items that could be put in this report and are available on demand.
There was very little communication with owners of company. When call the lady that answered said she would past the message on to the president. He only called me back one time on they day they were to start to work to tell me they would not be there.

They took too long to estimate the job, & he lost the paperwork on the second house. Then we had a huge tornadoe May 20 & they called to say they were going to go with that area For a payoff ove 60K. Three weeks wasted time. Very un-professional dealings. My job was over 40K.

They've been great. They've all been wonderful. Everybody they've sent out has been great.
