The first time I went in the girl listened to what I want and started the color.  When we got to the sink to rinse, she told me she had messed up the color and needed to put something else on it.  I said okay, and didn't ask about cost.  I assumed if she messed up she would cover the cost.  When it came time to pay they added $40 to the cost for the additional color treatment.  I didn't say anything because it was a young stylist and I was trying to be nice.

I made a second appointment for color and the exact same thing happened.  Got to the sink and she said she needed to adjust the color, plus said the color damaged my hair and I needed conditioner.  I asked about the cost.  She said it would be extra.  This time I questioned the extra cost when it was because the color wasn't right and it damaged my hair.  (I have never had my hair that damaged from color).  She said it was because my hair was colored previously and I didn't disclose that so she didn't put the correct color and take precautions.  She did the previous color, and my roots were a different color than the rest of my hair.  I had her do what was necessary, but this time my bill was over $200.  I will not go back.  They just add costs at will when you have no choice or to cover their incompetence.

The appointment started with the stylist (Amanda) telling my daughter that her hair was pretty messy. She went on to say that she couldn give her the color of highlights she wanted because her hair was too dark. Too dark!! At that point, we should have left. But instead, she settled on a different color. I left to run errands but when I came back, my daughter had foils only on the sides and front of her hair. She didn't touch the back of her hair at all!! Amanda said it would take a couple hours, but we were there for 3 1/2 hours!!! It was a nightmare. And now less than a week later, the color has all washed out of her hair. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE PRETENTIOUS AMATEURS.

I searched online for a while before settling on this company. I went in to the store and spoke with some of the employees prior to making an appointment. I hadn't been in a hair salon since 1981. They set me at ease by letting me know they wouldn't do anything without explaining what was about to happen and getting my approval before it actually took place. They donated my hair to Locks of Love for me. They provide beverages during the services provided. They provide complimentary trims for bangs. I am happy with the services that I received. They do not provide a detailed receipt which I was not too happy about especially since it is (in my opinion) very expensive.

Very expensive!

The experience is wonderful; the price is high. It's a classy place; they listen to you. They are prompt; you don't have to wait. They aren't overbooked. Right now I'm looking for something cheaper than that.

I met with stylist Tina for first time. Tina. Tina took an inordinate amount of time making sure she styled and cut my hair just perfectly. Tina also consulted |with salon owner regarding coloring process on my very color resistant hair. She really cared that I was pleased with my. style and cut. Great experience!

It had been decades since I had been to a salon for a cut, I was nervous.

It is a beautiful salon, with very friendly, helpful staff. I was immediately put at ease.

Tina Ford cut my hair exactly as I requested. My hair was a little longer than what would be called "shoulder length." I wanted a short neckline cut. Tina did an excellent job and I left the Salon very pleased. Also, be advised that the $76.00 price shown above includes two hair care products along with the hair cut. Also, if you are happy with Tina's cut, please do not forget to TIP.

Tina Ford did my hair nicely! I went in with waist length naturally curly hair that needed to be tamed! Color and cut are wonderful. I'd highly recommend Tina. I chose this salon because of the positive reviews. When I first called to schedule they immediately asked my price range. They have a large 'menu' online that shows their price range as more experienced stylists cost more. I noticed their website had a "new talent" special and decided I'd try this as a way to experience the salon. They don't tell you that the "new talent" section is toward the back of the salon, sort of hidden away. I didn't mind it made the experience more peaceful as they were quite busy when I was there! Tina took the time to listen to me and make sure she understood what I wanted before we began. She explained the products I was interested in and helped me to compare/contrast to find what was best for me. She styled my hair with new products so I could try before I buy. Highly recommend the Ouidad gel! I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely go back again. Customer service was great, I felt pampered and well taken care of! And, fyi, they offer wine or coffee during your service!

Schardein Hair Salon of Oklahoma City charges different prices for the different skill levels. The pricing is reasonable. I like that they listen to me and they ask what I like about my hair cut or what I want, if I want to change. They ask before they do anything.

It was easy to make an appointment. I was very pleased with my stylist who listened to me and provided very pleasant and excellent service. My daughter-in-law did not have a very pleasant experience with her stylists, however.

My hair stylist is Braxton. I like that he does a subtle job of highlighting and lowlighting; he does not over do it, and it blends in well with my natural hair color. I would recommend him. Their price is kind of high though.

I have been to this salon several times over the course of a year. I always saw the same person. She did a nice job and was very knowledgeable. When she colored my hair for the first time, I brought in an example. It turned out completely different than what I showed her. I returned the next day to have it fixed. I was greeted cooly and the receptionist said she liked my hair and didn't see anything wrong with it. The stylist guilted me about the repair the whole time and I felt so uncomfortable. The color she used to fix the original color turned my hair orange. I will never be going back to this salon.

I used Schardein and Co. three times before making my final decision to never return again. Two different girls there have done my hair. While each of them seemed to have the necessary knowledge and skills, I was in the chair more than two hours each time. This seems like a very long time to do hair that's very short.
What I liked:
Their promptness; the decor of the shop; being greeted with a smile.
What I didn't like:
Being in the chair for two hours; listening to the stylist promote their products; hearing all about the stylist's personal life; the price of the service.
Apparently, they try to justify their high prices by working very slowly on each client. It doesn't make me feel special or like I'm getting something there that I can't get any other place. I think the only thing the extra cost pays for is all their TV advertising and the complimentary Starbucks coffee.

Great experience! My stylist Kim Vega was professional ,courteous, and provided service that meet all my needs. Everyone at the salon was very friendly. The color station was very busy but what made it tolerable was no personal gossip.

He really cuts hair good. He's just an all around good stylist, making sure you can fix it yourself like he does.

She always does what I want her to do with my coloring. She's really good at her job.

Schardein and Company have excellent customer service. They have quality products and wonderful product knowledge too. I have been going to this solon for two years and continue to be very happy with my stylist. He is never pushy and listens to me when I tell him what I want done. He knows what I like and I always leave satisfied. Both the owner and my stylist are very personable with everyone that comes in the door. They offer you something to drink as soon as you walk in the door. This makes you feel very welcome. Very nice people!
