When he did the roofing job he mentioned during the roofing job 2 spots close to the front of the house where one grate had come off. Also, the front window under the roof had some rotting on the wood from water leaking off the roof. He was supposed to extend the roof to prevent the water from leaking and replace the grate. Neither of these things was done during the initial roofing job. When he came back he said that in the boards under the saufets and siding had rotted out and he showed me some spots were it did. So I agreed to pay $15,000 for him to remove existing coil stock, fascia, and vinyl saufet. Remove and replace all damaged saufet, wood facia and wood framing, as needed for completion of project. Install new vinyl saufet and aluminum coil stock to facia. Total estimate if all saufet is to be replaced on entire house is aapproximately$30,00.00. Customer approved S & L Inc for work on the north side of the house, for an estimated cost of $15,000. He said after he did the north side of the house that there were bad spots on the south side and the east side. I told him I could not afford more. He said he would do a small amount on the south and east side. Other complaints were that he left a terrible mess. I am still finding bits of shingle, odd nails, and red plastic after every rain. The attic has debris all in it as well. You want to prevent such an unpleasant experience from happening to anyone else in the future.
