Rick's House Of Fire

The fireplace does not work. It has a remote control that doesn't work. I have called so many times, I can't count them all. When I talk to Rick, he treats me like I'm stupid but I do what he tells me to do. The last time I talked to the repairman he said there was a recall and he would order the part for me. That was in February. I finally wrote a letter and Rick called. Told me to do some things and he would call me back the following day. He has never called back. I have contacted the manufacturer of the fireplace for someone else to repair it, but haven't heard anything yet. This was a very expensive renovation to my home and I'm very upset but Rick doesn't seem to care.

I contacted these people the third week in October of 2013.  I touched base with them after three weeks and was advised by a girl I was "at the top of the list".  December rolled around and I still had not heard from them.  Upon calling a second time, Rick answered the phone and gave me some story about being sick and him being the only repairman.  At the end of the conversation he advised "if I get to your part of town I'll give you a call".  That told me right there he wasn't interested in doing my repair at all.  I telephoned another company and was advised the exact date they would be at my home.  It was three weeks off but at least were able to give me a date.  They held to their word.  The fireplace is now fixed no thanks to Ricks House of Fire.
