I very highly recommend. In fact, I can’t say enough good things. We realized our hot water wasn’t working at 6 am. I spoke with their office at 8 am, and they had people here working by 9:30 am. By noon, I was able to take a hot shower again, and this was all accomplished at a fair price by very competent and very professional staff who left the work area cleaner than when they started. Rapid Water Heaters & Plumbing is officially my plumber of choice going forward.

Run!! Move to your next option! After install, an hour later my house started flooding. Over $50,000 in damages and they told us to just call our insurance company. Now 6 months later, it stopped working and we found out it's a home depot tank. They should have let the Home Depot Pros install maybe our house wouldn't have be destroyed and we could call them to fix it now! Oh wait you shouldn't have to be doing repair on a new tank in the first 6 months. I know we will end up having to replace this tank. So buying a hot water tank from this company, flooded my home then just to end up not working six months later! A valve/hose already gone bad! I know eventually we will had to buy a new one. Just find a pro and save your home. I can't believe these people claim to be a professional business even after the flood, do you think the owner called or stop by to see how they could help. Just to be open, they came back when we called about the house flooding, just to tell us it's our fault and call your insurance. John did an excellent job keeping up with the installation project for a new model Rheem hybrid. John returned phone calls and answered questions quickly. The job required a little more than the usual quick and easy 2-3 hour install, and there were several glitches. David and Stephen did the installation, and they were prepared, efficient, and professional. There was an accidental minor, annoying, irritating problem which was handled with a great attitude. All involved, including Jeannie, represented the company well. Dave and Stephen not only did a high quality install, they were prompt, pleasant, and cleaned up the job site. They all acted with integrity, and the price was fair. Great customer service. Thank you all.

All went well. The plumber diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price to repair it and a price to replace it. As my current water heater was 10 years old I elected to replace the water heater. The replacement went very well.

scheduled online at 8:50AM. received email and phone confirmation at 8:52. received text at 10:15 saying they would be here by 10:45. arrived at 10:40. gave me a reasonable quote for new water heater and code upgrades from my 28 year old gas heater. had everything on the truck when they arrived. they installed new gas heater and walked ot the door at 12:04. Amazing! left no mess and took old heater with them. and their truck didn't leave an oil spot on my driveway. what plumber, painter, electrician etc. has a truck that doesn't leak?

On a Saturday, they called me while I was using Angie's list. Offered to come by in an hour, assess the problem and give me an estimate--no charge, no pressure. Because they do only water heaters they had all the equipment, etc on their truck. So they installed the heater right away. Had to do some extra stuff because the codes have changed since the last one was put in. Explained everything they did. Cleaned up afterward. Two guys very polite, very professional. I'll use the again (in ten or twelve years)

When Rapid got there they found that the fittings were fine but changed them because the inspector said they needed to be changed. He did not charge me since he felt like they were fine to begin with. He was amazing and did a great job.

I was contacted before I was even done filling in information online. Said they could have someone in 20-30 minutes. Checked their ratings which were excellent. Told them to come on to the house. Glad I did. They arrived promptly. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Could not have asked for more. The bad H20 heater was three years old. They processed warranty and applied amount to quote. I didn't have to call anyone. The crew even met my dogs so the dogs would stop barking--dogs loved them Crew discovered and corrected some issues (such as disconnected vent pipe). Installed a 10-year 50 gallon Rheem heater Very nice surprise to go from crisis to correction in such a short time and in such a positive way.

I was contacted within one minute after looking on Angie’s list for a company to repair/replace our leaking 50 gallon gas water heater. John from Rapid water heaters said he would schedule a serviceman for the following day and I would receive a call between 10am-2pm. Never received a call. I called John shortly after 2pm and he apologized, said he scheduled me on a different day. Doesn’t make sense since my water heater was leaking and he was clear on sending someone out the next day. He said he had a guy in the area about to finish up on a job and he would send him over. At 5pm, I called John back and told him I had not heard from a serviceman yet. He said someone would be at my house shortly. The service guy showed up at 6 PM. I believe his name was Robert and he was very polite and did a good job. It took him 2 hours but we were back up and running by 8 pm. Cost was about $300 more than I was quoted by two other companies after the fact. I gave an overall rating of B because of the workmanship but not happy about wasting an entire day waiting on the guy to show up. Also, the Price was a little steep even though they talk about being cheaper because all they do is water heaters.

It is pre-dawn, early spring, on a Wednesday. 3 of the 4 people under my roof are scrubbing away during their morning shower routines when suddenly water is flowing thru the ceiling of a ground floor utility room. I rush upstairs to the attic where a pair of 14 year old 50 gallon ginormous rust buckets in series sit oozing and gurgling water from atop the heating cylinder from ****. The sad little drain pans were no match for the Niagara River flowing over the metal falls. It was a hot mess. Water heater number one was dead. In spectacular fashion, she was spewing forth her last gasp of lava hot agua, she gone. I closed the valve and heard the instant screams of 3 shell shocked people suddenly doused with frosty showers. Enter John Crossett, hydro-mechanical genius and champion of cold showering misfits. After a quick search and some due diligence on my part, John called me back in like 18 seconds. He showed up the same day to bypass one lame mule to allow the second to still function, which made me a hero for giving everyone hot showers again, thank you for that one John. I took the credit, my apologies. He gave me a quote to replace my setup with several (4 to be exact) options and explained each in detail with the pros and cons for me to ponder while making a decision. Although I was very reluctant to consider a tankless setup, he explained to me the value in replacing two units with a single self-contained tankless unit with its 99 percent efficiency. After he left, I weighed my options. It made no sense whatsoever to do anything other than a tankless. So I called him back like 6 minutes after he left and said yes. Put me on the books at your earliest convenience. And so he did. A very short 48 hours later on this beautiful Friday afternoon, I am now the proud owner of a shiny new Navien NPE-240S and all of its high-tech splendidly efficient glory. The two behemoths are gone. Without a trace. Well, except for the wee bit of drywall I still need to repair downstairs but I digress… The install was quick and painless. Anything but arduous and long. You have to appreciate a mechanical professional who: A) is a one man show hauling around all that old equipment, 2) knows the product inside and out, and C) doesn’t leave behind a trail of disaster behind him. John is super-fast. He was in and out in just over 3 hours. Clean as a whistle, I mean it’s refreshing to have a plumber who doesn’t take a break every ten minutes to suck down a Marlboro then leave the smell of ash tray lingering for days, or track insulation bits from stem to stern while traipsing up and down the stairs with full on plumbers crack. I’m not judging, I used to be a smoker and must admit I have a bit of plumbers crack, so don’t take offense if you are this plumber and happen to be reading the glowing review of your competition. I’m just saying, John isn’t that guy. He has a job to do and he does it well. He answered my list of questions about maintenance and pretended not to notice my lingering curiosity of the installation process. So to John Crossett and Rapid Water Heaters, thank you for a job well done. It made this hellish experience and the angst of an unexpected home repair expense far more manageable. I feel like I should drop flyers from Chopper 4 across the metro to sing your praises. Now I’m going to take a long hot shower and soak up the awesomeness of instant hot water. Cheers.

Needed a water heater installed asap, spent a few minutes searching Angie’s List for the first time, and John called in 3 mins! He made an appt. to come, said it would be a no charge estimate. Such good work!

I needed a new water heater. I already had 3 quotes from other plumbers who were both astronomical in price and tried to apply a lot of sales pressure and scare tactics to push me into a repair right away. I had "Rapid Water Heaters - Crossett Plumbing" come out and the tech gave me a great price (that included getting my house up to code) and immediately did the work out of his truck. He was very kind and honest; he explained to me a water leak I had probably wasn't my hot water heater but another issue. I went ahead with the heater because I needed one anyway. The install was quick (~1-2 hours) and very professional. I would definitely use these guys again.

He replaced everything efficiently and timely. Very friendly service and best price. He had the water heater on the truck so no extra waiting time. Will use him again for sure.
