See Above. I consider myself a little better than average in computer knowledge. Have used computers since the TRASH 80 1970's for my Criminal Justice work. When I need help, it is from someone more exert than me.
Description of Work: Had satisfactory service from Feb. 2004. Began having repeated problems with slow bootup, error messages, other computer problems. Because of satisfactory service, chose to let Computer Nerdz build me a computer. This new unit was delivered on 9/30/2009. It required some "tune up items, but they were taken care of by Computer Nerdz. Began having HD problems. They convinced me it needed a new HD, and that was "normal" life span for HD's. Paid for new HD on 7/18/2011. They could no explain why Lightscribe and DVD drive did not work. They "ran some tests" but unsuccessful. Repeated problems of slowness, unable to wireless print. Had to have USB plugged in to print at all. Had bench diagnostic on 3/26/2010 Had printer problems, never could get wireless to communicate. Bought new HP machine and I installed. Got it set up and working on wireless home network. This machine "blew up" in July, 2011 and had to get new HP Photosmart all-in-one wireless. I set it up and got it printing wireless. Had HD problems. They advised only thing to do was wipe and reload. Got machine back and tech came to get set up. After much effort, he said he had the laptop, CPU and printer communicating. I asked if that was with USB connected. He said no. Instead of fixing the DVD drive, they installed a program on desktop to print DVD's. After tech left I immediately checked and the USB WAS PLUGGED IN WHILE HE WAS DOING HIS WIRELESS PRINTING.. I had to change the USB each time I wanted to print from the laptop or CPU. CPU would not even recognize the printer. On my own, I now have the printing problem worked out. All information from notes and actual paperwork
