Referred to me by a relative.  Up front about what needs to be done.  Very professional.

I first called when I noticed a strange humming noise coming from the electrical fuse box. Mr Murphy was concerned and wanted to come out asap to check it out to ensure my safety. Even though the noise subsided after I unplugged a suspicious lamp, he still wanted to make sure it was safe. He came right after his next appointment and checked the box, the fuses, the lamps and the outlets and found nothing. Nevertheless he replaced the fuse to be on the safe side and gave me some helpful tips about the type of lamp I was using. I asked if I could make an appointment for him to come back and work on some other projects that I had been putting off. Mr Murphy said he had left enough time in his schedule and quot;just in caseand quot; the fuse box issue had required more of his time and that he could stay and do all the other items on my list.



This was the first time I can remember having a and quot;pleasantand quot; experience with an electrician. Not only was he polite, prompt, professional, and did good work, but he was honest, forthright, and trustworthy. He was more than reasonably priced and didn't talk condescendingly to me. He was helpful and gave me handy tips and explained everything I asked about. Everything was great! I had put off having these things done for over 5 years because I so dreaded dealing with electricians from past experiences. No more! I will definitely and readily use Mr Murphy for any project, big or small, and I am eager to refer him to all my friends and family!
