Called the company ten times over a seven-month period about a small issue that needed to be inspected and a re-inspection of the new roof due to large hail hitting the roof just after the roof was installed. Was repeatedly told that someone would call me back but never got a call. Finally got the original salesman to call me and he said he would come by a week later to inspect the roof. I was home with the flu all day and never noticed him coming by. He said he would call me with the results of his inspection. He never called. I waited more than a week and called back, and the office got him on the line, and he just wanted to argue, and he claimed that he inspected the roof. He kept interrupting me and told me to shut the F up so he could speak. If he actually did, it served no purpose because, he never called me with the results. I have been lied to by so many people from this company that I don't know whether to believe anything they tell me. He had asked me if his crew needed to go to the bathroom if they could use my bathroom. I explained that my toilets were not working and that, since my home is far away from neighbors, they could urinate outside but would have to go to a nearby gas station if they needed to defecate. I later found that, they had defecated at least twice behind a wood fence, leaving the waste and used toilet paper for me to deal with. I had requested and paid for them to use the top grade of impact resistant shingles and other materials manufactured by Tamko. I had researched their materials and warranty requirements and found that, their warranty required that all materials used were their brand for the warranty to be valid. I wanted to take every measure to prevent any roof leaks in the event that some kind of damage occurred to the roof surface so, I requested that, the top grade of ice and water shield material be applied to the entire roof surface below the shingles. This would have taken the place of the normal "felt" underlayment and is an expensive add-on. The contract they provided included the use of the material on the entire surface. While they were installing the roof, the salesman told me that, they would be unable to put the material on the entire surface and it was only applied around the perimeter edges, along the ridge and around the pipe flashings and the solar vent that they installed. I paid the full amount of the contract the day the roof was installed, and they never mentioned refunding me the difference in the amount for the materials that were not used or the additional labor that was not needed to install it. The material actually adheres to the decking surface and is harder to install that just rolling on the felt type underlayment. I also noted that, when they removed the old roofing, instead of removing all of the old nails, they simply drove the nails that didn't come off with the roofing materials, into the 1/2 inch plywood decking. Since the government outlawed the "hot-dip galvanization process, because of environmental concerns, the nails available, which are smooth and have just tiny shank grooves around a small portion of the shaft, tend to back out of the decking due to expansion and contraction of the decking due to temperature and moisture changes. The nails will either lift the shingles where they are not sealed down or completely penetrate the shingles, leaving holes in the roofing surface. It took them several hours of pounding to drive all the nails down that did not come off with the roofing. There must have been thousands of nails that are now just waiting to back out and penetrate the new, very expensive roofing materials. There were several other issues that should not have happened, but I think this is plenty of reasons to nt recommend this company for anyone. I know they have a good reputation and a lot of good reviews but, that is probably because, the average hom...
