MAGUIRE-O'HARA CONSTRUCTION

I hired this company strickly on reputation. My house is not complete but wanted to give an initial assesment of thier work. So far not great. Once roof was complete, I had to have the whole front part of house redone due to shingle stagger was really far off. Very unprofessionally done. My front door was replaced with the very same type of door which my father and I had replaced two weeks prior to the tornado. The door was installed but the jam plates were not installed in the frame. They were left in the old frame and thrown away. I had to go buy new plates and install them myself. Glass was replaced into two front windows eventhough the frames are damaged and bent. Maguire O'Hare said they would replace the frames if the were damaged but they did not. This company has had a contract with me since the end of May and I still have not seen a bid or estimate of the cost of work being done. My mortgage company has not received one either and said they will stop payment checks. Almost everything they have done I have had to get corrected because it was not finished properly. You have to watch these guys like a hawk. They seem nice to your face but I am beginning to believe they are out for a quick buck. Really disappointed in the work being accomplished and at this point can not honestly recommend them to anyone.
